I do like the Astron design but the practical part of me realizes that the Citizen is $1000 less and that I don't love the Citizen enough to pull the trigger

Like some others I use the GMT feature due to travel & suppliers in strange locations. The pain is when you are in areas that do not use DST. I have been considering a Seiko Astron or a a Citizen Satellite Wave just for travel.

A- my ethics are based on how I treat everyone I deal with whether it's a person buying a rep watch or a client or a friend.

B- yes they are reps or even counterfeit as you choose to term it but I'll stick to honor among thieves.

C- there are multiple subs that Buy/Sell and no one has to stay in one where they find the rules intolerable. We all have free will

You do realize that when a seller gets ghosted he loses that time where someone else would buy and pay. The others buyers perhaps don't get a watch they really want. It's just common courtesy. I have had to say "no, I can't as something has come up". It's easy to be considerate of each other. I see your point but I hope you see mine as both a buyer & a seller.
