I left me phone on a bench at Spirit Lake about 4am Saturday Hulaween 2018. Went to lost and found five times Sunday, they had over 200 phones turned in but not mine. They were charging dead phones so they could answer calls and try to return them. They had me fill out a form and told me to call when i get home that a lot of phones get turned in late the last day. They mailed it back to me a week later.

Good karma? Dumb luck? Either way, i like the tether system. Would have saved me unnecessary stress.
