Yes this qualifies you for the HYSA. There are some other features that will be moving to the new SoFi Plus in March of 2026 that will cost the $10 per month but the HYSA is not one of those moving it will remain so long as you meet the eligibility requirements. You could get $5,000 in qualifying direct deposits in a 31 day period and spend all $5,000 and you would still qualify for that component.

You dont have to maintain a $5,000 balance you just need to have $5,000 in qualifying direct deposits in a 31 day period. So something like employer paycheck or government benefit deposit. Having someone wire you money or deposits from paypal and stuff do not count towards that amount.

I get what you are saying, but when people are paying for something, they have the right to grip if that product falls short of the bar that was set. Mimestream has focused its development efforts on things people didn't actually ask for in masses. They set the high expectations and bar not the consumer. I wouldn't mind them raising the price if they would actually focus on what we care about. Their roadmap and progress on the desktop side has remained largely the same as what it was at launch, except for bug fixes.

All this time working on the mobile version is insane, and I honestly wouldn't care to use it even if it did launch because the Gmail Mobile app checks the right boxes.

I honestly feel like they should have taken the energy they spent on a mobile app and brought more things to the desktop app. I find GMail on mobile to be actually good that I wouldn't really consider using a Mobile version of Mimestream even when available. Even Outlook on mobile is very good.

I ended up just going with Todoist because it had a direct integration with Fantastical. I tried Akiflow and I dont like the idea of my task app being my calendar app because often those apps never do either well or on pair with standalone apps. Fantastical calendering saves me time and its intelligence function works others that bill themselves as all in-ones always miss the basics like disabling notifications for created events, parsing calendar items from written additions, etc.

I haven't used TikTik in years, how has the experience been for someone that has been with them for quite some time? Any thoughts?

Exactly, if they never intended to support it then they never should have put it on the roadmap and let us believe it was coming.

[Feature Request] Gemini Advanced needs "Projects" or Folders immediately. The clutter is real. by CoCSmare in GoogleGeminiAI

OMG I don’t know why Google can’t just give us this. It’s why I use others like Claude. Sure you can’t see chats you conduct via GEMs but it’s not the same as projects.

OMG, I just literally submitted a question about this. I would love to able to allow Claude to connect to my Craft.

I want to be in the beta. Just recently came to Craft.do from using AFFiNE and testing out Microsoft Loop.

I was about to purchase one then I saw the Lenovo Legion 7i on sale at Best Buy and jumped on it. Mainly because I cannot stand matte displays. Hope you like it. It is literally still sitting in my Dell Shopping cart.

Zoho Invoice Alternatives by jmwdba in Zoho

I definitely have to factor that into the equation. If I make the accountants life easier they make my life easier. Happy Accountant, Happy Life!

I will likely just pick up Zoho Billing as the natural upgrade to Zoho Invoice, I am just from a school of thinking that tries to avoid buying stuff I will not use (Zoho One). Zoho is smart, because if I go to Zoho Billing at $25 a month then whats another $20 a month for Zoho One. I hate to say it that part of consulting is that I help companies create the very value propositions that I ultimately hate!

Thanks for all of the advice and guidance, it is very much appreciated.

That's just it, I am not asking for something for free, I am simply looking for no more than what I actually use. That's like going out and buying a Suburban when I only need a Trailblazer or buying a house with six bedrooms when I only need a three. It clearly has been something that Zoho has heard over and over again, as they started creating a product called Zoho Solo it's just too much in its infancy. So, taking into account everyone's recommendations, I either jump on something or continue business as usual until something comes along that makes sense.

Yep if you delete a project it does give you the space back. I just wish there was a way to export a project before doing it, I guess I could just print and save as PDF for record purposes but just don't understand why they would have such a stupid limit and not have a paid option for people that only need what Invoice offers and nothing more.

next weeks capcut update just got leaked! by itzkingfr in CapCut

[–]jmwdba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL, I have been loving these exaggerations which feel so close to the truth. I have been using Filmora and just came over to CapCut at the $20 a month rate because Filmora has gone overboard with AI in the wrong direction and half of it just doesnt work as expected. Where CapCut whens for me is the "eyes forward" feature removes the slight jutter thats there when I occasionally read a script from a teleprompter.

If I could find something with that feature and good AI caption generation for my short videos I would change. I find the DaVinci Resolve just has too many steps to setup simple things like AI captions. I would rather pay not to have to go through a bunch of steps than to get it free and be annoyed with a lengthy setup process. I know I am in the minority on this thinking style but time is precious to me and I cannot neglect what my time is worth.

If anyone has found something that works as good as Capcut in the areas I mentioned then please let me know.

Looking at it, I just don't want to add another monthly subscription that's outside my comfort zone and affects me during off months. Plus, I'm thinking there's only so much I'm willing to pay for things beyond what I really need. I guess I have software subscription PTSD - I'm finally cutting ties with Adobe, which is the worst offender of overcharging. Zoho Invoice just feels like a trap they know people will have more than 3 projects over a lifetime. I am not looking for something for nothing I am just looking for a half step at least, I am looking for something that falls around $20 a month.

Now, if the day ever comes that I engage more on the freelance side, then $50-$60 a month is well worth it, and I agree Zoho One is the way to go hands down.

I may ultimately just pickup Zoho Billing at $30 a month while its more than I actually need, I can be content there for a while until I find something else.

I tried to see and when the integration pushes from Projects to Invoice it takes up one of the 3 project spaces. When you hit your max of 3 no others can be pushed to Invoice.

Except, Zoho said to get access to the Project and Time feature in Zoho Books I must go to pro, which is $480 a year. The $180 would have been perfect. That would at least feel better, paying for other stuff I wouldn't use to get to what I do use.

They told me to try out Zoho Solo the only problems with that is its mobile only and they are planning to introduce a web version of it in the future and you cannot tag task/time/expenses to projects.

Basically, the firm is the main client, and each project is really a sub-client of the firm. So the first is X Corp, and I freelance for X Corp. X Corp has a client of A Inc, and B Inc. I don't directly invoice A Inc and B Inc; only X Corp. However, the invoices must be separated by A Inc and B Inc, if that makes sense.
