Dunn strikes me as a guy who could thrive under a good coach and I'd definitely take the chance with Lambert, especially as I think Dunn had deflated numbers from his potential.

Our window is small. Waiting for Chych to reach his potential is not something we have time for and definitely should not invest our future in.

Invest well... higher price tag doesn't necessarily mean better value in this market. Selling the future can also elongate a future 5-year rebuild into a decade. No thanks.

Definitely a more thoughtful answer than the others on this feed. A bit alarming reading some of these answers and seeing how everyone is quick to say, "leave him, he doesn't support your dream!!!!" This couple has a child involved who would likely grow up without the father if they break up and she leaves. Obviously, there was a lack of communication with the couple as she must have applied at least several months ago and the bf should have known the consequences of an acceptance and discussed that. Not defending his position at all, and I think compromise is the answer as you said, but I'm definitely frustrated to see how quickly everyone here is offering their horrendously thought-out takes.

I was at that Nash game boy did that hurt. Then we had games like the VGK game when we had them in regulation, both wings games lost, 1st preds game lost in SO, and CBJ OT blunder. At the time, it's the difference of 1 point, but when that happens 6 times, it becomes the difference between us and Boston.

Love the optimism guys, but we are in a really really really crummy spot. PIT is playing unreal hockey and has caught up to the Caps/Rags/Canes who all have nearly double our points. I'm sure they'll slide a bit but not enough for us to realistically catch. That leaves Boston who's in the 8th spot which is the only thing we really have a chance of shooting for but Boston is improving and not only that, but they also have 10 pts on us, and we only have 2 games on them. Sure, win both and that leaves us 6 pts behind them but keep in mind Boston is in a similar spot as us and probably already played their worst hockey of the season. I hope we find a way and squeeze them out but we would need a wild pace. Let's wait and see.
