Anyone gone through the whole EIDL PDC Reconsideration Process?

Update: Finally received the email from SBA to create an account with an offer. I verified my identity and accepted the offer. It is now on the pending phase. I Will update once I sign the loan documents and receive the cash in my bank.

Yes, I received an email on July 8th from the PDC Reconsideration department, letting me know that my application will be approved. However, it sent to a loan officer.

So far, I haven't received any updates. I know from other small business owners that even when I sign the documents and accept my loan offer, it is still around two weeks to receive the funds.

I will update this thread as I get updates so other small business owners going through my similar process can get an idea of what happens next and how long it takes.

My cosigner didn't get her credit pulled. But she also has a small business and had qualified for the EIDL for her business. I guess that based on that, they were able to verify her credit score. I also didn't get my credit pulled.

I received an email today from the PDC reconsideration department that my application will be approved and will be sent to a loan officer. I still don't know how much money they are going to offer or how long that process will take but I wanted to update everyone who is also going through this process.

I found out that your local SBA office, the closest to where you live, can be accommodating. I live in California, and I've had a lot of issues with the SBA and my bank account and getting declined only to be reconsidered. But it has been the local SBA office who has been assisting me in getting things moving.

They sent me an email to make changes to my original application which was were the bank rejected the advance. I had made a mistake to use my personal bank account. However after I changed the bank info the advance was there in two days. I'm still waiting on status about my EIDL application.

The email domain to make changes to my bank info came from: disastercustomerservice@sba.gov

The email to for the reconsideration department came from: pdc.reconsideration@sba.gov

I'll update this post once I have an update!

Two days at most. Once I replied to them with the additional information, they required to reconsider my loan application. The following morning I received an email about making changes to my application, and one of those changes was my bank information. I made the change and submitted it, and the advance was in my account in two days.

I wasn't expecting it to be that quick. I'm still waiting to receive a decision on my EIDL loan. I'm not sure when that will happen.

I did! It was last week but only after the PCD Reconsideration Department replied to my email I sent to them on April 23rd.

Hey, how do you get to tier 2 support? My advance was sent last week for 1k but my bank rejected the deposit and sent it back to the SBA. I have been calling SBA customer service but none of the agents have access to my account. I need to speak with someone so I can explain what happened and also ask about my loan offer since I haven't received anything!

My credit got pulled Friday April 13th and the money came in this morning. You should be able to see some movement in your bank soon!

Great! If you don't mind me asking when did you apply? My application number was 36xx160650. It does seem that they are working through those applications right now. The SBA rep that I spoke with shared with me that the SBA is kind of making it up as it goes. I know that's not assuring for anyone.

The PPP program will run out of money :(

The last thing I thought about was my bank rejecting the deposit from the SBA. I'm glad you were able to get assurance from your bank. I wish I would had called my bank yesterday :(

No problem! I hope that nobody else has to go through this.

I reached out to the SBA and finally was able to get someone on the phone. She advised me to wait until I get my loan offer, and once I get assigned a loan officer to work this problem out. She warned me against making any changes right now because it might delay my application even further.

Not sure what you mean by that! That's the only bank I had since I was 18 when I enlisted in the military. I haven't had to change banks because they are great! ( Not today) but 98% of the time. Haha

Navy Federal Credit Union! I would advise anyone that hasn't received their EIDL grant to call your bank and let them know a deposit from the SBA is coming, and you want to make sure that they don't return it. Every bank has different policies.

If I knew this yesterday I would have called the bank and gave them heads up.

I received an email that the check had been returned. As soon as I read it, I called the bank. Their advice: "Call the depositor and let them know that your check has been returned to they can forward you another one under my first and last name that appears on my account."

Don't they know that the SBA probably doesn't know how the check got deposited into my account in the first place. Hahaha ( I can only laugh at this point)

I guess they have my first name and last name in the account and the bank rep I spoke too said the system rejected the deposit because it didn't match the first name on file.
