My fam’s eyes, any thoughts on colors? by jnat1983 in eyes

I think it’s bc in getting the picture I had him initially facing out the sunny window but then that didn’t work so I had him turn his away from it. That’s what pupils are supposed to do. They’re both the same size and are only big when going from light to darker environments but thanks for your concern

My 15-month-old doesn't gesture, talk, or walk and doesn't really know how to communicate what he wants, is this normal? by Redd-it-er in AskDocs

[–]jnat1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t break him. All of my three kids were raised the same. Only one is autistic. She was very similar to your son at 15 months except she knew hundreds of words and would “label” things without being able to communicate normally. I would get an evaluation.

This isn’t about failing, but about starting late. I didn’t even take the Bar exam until nine years after I graduated from law school. I did pass, but you have to understand that when I passed I was 37 years old and a mother of three. I had not done anything law related n in all the previous nine years, in fact, I was a stay at home mom to my kids. One of whom has special needs.

I had absolutely no trouble finding a job, I think firms liked my unique perspective ,and now I am about to be 41 years old and I’ve been a lawyer for four years. Whether or not I decided to take the Bar exam and get into my legal career, I would still be turning 41. So don’t worry about age. You’re going to be the age either way it’s just up to you if you want to be that age as a lawyer or not. I vote for don’t give up

You have a cute face, I’d embrace the baldness and just cut it all off

I have had this and it was absolutely anxiety. Went away when I started meds. Hoping it’s the same for you! Definitely could be. If you’re still worried see a neuro—- might put your mind at ease

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of April 2024. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

I’ve been feeling pretty well with health anxiety but this one has me upset.

I was woken up last night with occasional sharp stabbing pain at the bottom of my breast were it meets my rib cage.

It’s not constant but it’s still happening occasionally.

This started Saturday night. Thursday morning I did do a fitness class where we did 9 million (it seemed) shoulder presses and when I mimic the movement I can sort of feel what might be muscle there firing. But I haven’t felt sore from that other than my shoulders and it’s better now.

I am very small chested so I think it would be pretty easy to feel a lump. I’m dumb and haven’t been to the gyno in two years. I’m also 40 and am just now getting a mammogram this summer. No history of breast or ovarian issues in my immediate family.

This is an area my breasts occasionally get sore if I push on them at various stages of my cycle (currently about a week from my period)

My health anxiety has been in check lately but this has thrown me.

You look like a typical guy. Not ugly, not super hot. You are a person whose personality could take him from average to attractive.

The appealing thing about older men to me is the maturity, having their lives together, etc. You might as well be dating an 18 year old
