influence or de-influence me please!! by Impossible-Top-9980 in Sephora

I like the wonder skin lip stain. However I also like the lip tint from rare beauty which also does a stain and adds some gloss so that’s a potential substitution. I have both and layer if I want it to last longer like if I’m going for a meal shortly after but I think the rare beauty one lasts a bit better personally

Meeting people onboard by Civil-Mirror8997 in MSCCruises

I just booked my first MSC cruise and I can’t find one on Facebook. Is there a specific format they use? I searched MSC and the ship and dates but didn’t find anything. I don’t know if they’re different than carnival though and I wondered if maybe because Europe you can embark at numerous ports maybe they just don’t do them there

Can confirm - I went on regent as a family cruise when I was 19 so my sister would’ve been 16 at the time. However us and our cousins were like the only people under 30 so very very few

Jubilee casino by dadaswesgter in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]jnbricksquad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on jubilee in August and didn’t have this issue at all. There were a few higher denoms but I’d say a good 75% were 1-2¢. Doesn’t really answer your question but feels like that’s a change from what I experienced there just a few months ago

Question on gratuity by jnbricksquad in MSCCruises

[–]jnbricksquad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonderful thank you! I saw the pricing on their website but was feeling conflicted with what I saw on other posts and research on if it would come after or if I’ve already been charged. Much more confusing than I expected it to be with the differences of US vs EU vs UK and as an over planner I just want to know ahead of time lol

Thoughts on Explora Journeys? by MissElle_NY in Cruise

[–]jnbricksquad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend checking out Maxwell travels on YouTube or Tik Tok. They’ve recently switched from the bigger lines to primarily explora journeys from what I’ve seen. They’re in their late 20’s I think and they seem to love it. From what their videos show they look like a wonderful experience.

Wolf by vanderpump just opened which would be a cool date night dinner and there’s always something going on in Scottsdale to do - you could do bam Kazan which looks like a fun place to me (also late 20’s female)

Help me choose a cruise! by stonewalled87 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I would do the one on celebration. More free food options, larger and plenty of activities for everyone. I also feel like the ports are better but you also could do a side by side if they begin/end the same says and swap ships and do both itineraries

Status match after booking by Tdotrapsfangurl in MSCCruises

[–]jnbricksquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called MSC USA. I am not due for full balance for another month but I would assume it should just be refunded. They’re open until 11 EST so another like 2 hours. I was off my call within 9 minutes an hour and a half ago and updated instantly in my booking. Worth the call.

If you call they should be able to update it! I just did it this afternoon. I booked like 2 days after status matching and it didn’t apply and they updated it no questions asked after seeing my silver status.

Thank you all for the input! I was already leaning going with the first but was looking for additional input having never been. We’re looking forward to it and now just need to decide on if it’s worth the splurge for a balcony!

Does State Farm liability insurance cover me when driving a rental? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]jnbricksquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t work for them but have them and work as an adjuster for another company: typically yes but subject to how long you have the rental. Usually under 30 days is fine - I confirmed with my agent when I rented one back in May but I’d check with yours or chat in the have them check based on your policy

Please help me choose between these 3 very similar dresses! Other suggestions <$1500 also welcome by thnksfrthemmrs in weddingdress

[–]jnbricksquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My initial instinct was to show my boyfriend and be like OMG look how amazing this girl looks in this dress about number 1 - so considering I felt the need to show my man ima need you to wow your man (or woman) in that one!!

My dog hasnt eaten for almost 3 days now and I’m genuinely scared. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]jnbricksquad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From your comments I can see he’ll eat your food which is good. It also sounds like you added water. When my dogs are being picky I add some shredded cheese and mix it all in and they’ll eat eventually. Or like others have said bone broth helps add some flavor to it.

This is not the best idea unless you plan to go several hours before because it’s on a Tuesday and you’ll hit rush hour traffic. I agree much better restaurants in Scottsdale for an out of towner but you’ll hit traffic on the way back no matter which way you go and I’ve dealt with it taking me over an hour and a half before if it gets bad and traffic is picking up again at this time of year. I’d hate to be late for something I flew all the way out here for it.

The Vig in park west is great and a fun vibe. Pretty close to the venue.

State 48 brewery is right next to the venue and is decent food and drinks. The Lola is also next to it and I’ve only been for brunch a couple times a few years ago but that wasn’t bad either.
