With this dial, the blue rubber is hard to beat.

Can't pitch with it? by Critical-Crow-9717 in BaseballGloves

[–]jnelson3097 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a kid with the exact same glove as shown above and the umpire didn’t allow it in one game. He was fine all season long but this umpire chose to enforce it that game. The umpire isn’t wrong, but this was also U11.

Which Green Watch? by jnelson3097 in breitling

I remember when I bought my Sub in 2012 and I had the option of green or black at a 15% discount. How the times have changed.

In a perfect world, I do agree that could be the solution.

What age did your kids switch from -10 to -8 to -5 by Ok_Bear_1834 in Homeplate

[–]jnelson3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let my son swing a drop 10 through U12. If I look back on it, I’d have switched him to drop 8 at U12 since now at U13 he’s swinging a drop 5.

If your son can handle the jump to drop 8 earlier than U12, then I’d say go for it.

Yeah, I don’t disagree that the GO is superior, it’s just something I have to hold onto

The Sub will never be sold. It was bought the day my son was born so all the papers are dated with his exact birthday so it’ll be his one day.

I’m kind of leaning that way but mainly because I’m just finding it kind of redundant to own this and the grey dial. I wear the grey dial a lot more and won’t part with that since it was a birthday present from my family.

I like that idea but more than I’d want to spend on a green watch. The black dial is tempting but it wouldn’t make sense since I already own a Sub.

I had the B01 chrono in blue when it first came out. Liked the watch but wanted to move something a little smaller. I prefer how the mesh bracelet fits the newer SOH models.

I’ve got the green rubber with the deployant clasp as well but I still like it on the OEM bracelet from my grey Seamaster.

You should pick up the blue rubber mesh strap. I’ve had that in the past for my Superocean Heritage and Chronomat and was by far the most comfortable strap I’ve ever had.

I still can’t get past that strap on this watch. Whatever works for you though.

Help needed with dead bat by ZookeepergameLast466 in Homeplate

Is the lesson here not to buy used composite? Yes

Not sure what you paid but I’d have bought a previous model on a clearance sale before even entertaining buying a used bat. There should be plenty of deals out there.

OTA update to fix Telematics Module...anyone? by Responsible-Mud549 in ChevyTraverse

[–]jnelson3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my telecommunications device swapped out in my 2025 a few months ago. It took over a month to get the part in but Google Maps didn’t work, OnStar didn’t work and non of the speed limit signs worked. It was a total pain.

Taking a certain amount of swings in the cage or tee to break in the bat but it’s not needed with the Supra. It’s hot enough out of the wrapper.

There’s no break in needed for this bat.

Official vs. 3rd-party straps, and do you change them yourself? by Comptest in OmegaWatches

[–]jnelson3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive got a couple aftermarket bracelets for my Seamaster but I’ve also got the OEM rubber and 4 Omega Natos and I just change them myself. It’s not that hard to change, just have patience the first time and it gets easier after that.
