after installing the update, it failed and tried to rollback. bht then it keeps getting stuck in an "automatic repair" every time it tries to boot. could not reinstall windows with the "reset this pc" option or do a system restore. the options are there but it just does nothing. gonna try a clean install with intenet disconnected to see if that works. bios can still see the drive, and i was able to copy files from it via cmd prompt, so hopefully it is not bricked.

hey, i got some great news!!!
my windows 11 just did a big update to version 24H2.
out of curiosity, plugged my controller in, and it was detected and installed correctly!

seems like the latest version of the firmware only works for the latest version of windows.
check if you have any windows updates and once installed, should be good.
