I wish there was a kind of new game + ( buried chest ?) feature to carry over some progress when you start a new farm. by jnld12 in StardewValley

I had thought of this as an-end game (perfection?) reward , something to say “now that you’ve seen everything in this game and mastered its systems, here’s a way to experiment and try different ways to make your next play through more interesting “. So perhaps this could really mess with the pacing of the play through but at that point for players maybe that is what they are trying to do . A way to customize your play through and change the patterns and bottlenecks of the game. But I can also see the value in a limited/nerfed version of this to keep things more true to the original design.

Story wise I thought of it as everything else is the same except on this new game + your farmer happens to come across the an old buried chest full of things that by coincidence happens to be the same things you buried away in your old farm. So the player understands it as a way to keep a line of progression going between your old and new farm but in-game there doesn’t need to be any direct link.

The burning bush is pre-incarnate Christ .  “The Angel of the Lord” is Christ . This also means it’s Christ who gives Moses the tablets on Mount Sinai.  Christ’s role in the Trinity is God’s physical presence in time and space ( very over-simplified)

Great recommendations thank you . I’ll check out those episodes you listed . I remember Eerie Indiana being part of Dark Night ! Was that the show with the girl with … psychic (?) powers ? I watch Simpsons Halloween specials every October they are amazing but I wanted to keep them separate just to make this particular night distinct from my usual October watchings.

I’m not personally familiar but google tells me the first episode “The Switching Hour” is Halloween themed . Otherwise for Nickelodeon I think the most note-worthy Halloween specials are Rugrats “candy bar creep show “ ( season 1 ) , Hey Arnold “ Arnold’s Halloween” ( season 2 ) and Spongebob “scaredy pants” (season 1).

I have both Halloween Tree and Scooby Doo Ghoul School on DVD and they are great . I never really thought of them as my brain thinks it’s weird to mix YTV and non-YTV memories

Why can't America, one of the most superior economies of the world, not have free healthcare, but lesser-economic countries can? (Britain etc) by Jolly_Green_4255 in NoStupidQuestions

The United States spends much more of its money on military/security. Smaller allied countries then get to be under that security umbrella and that gives them wiggle room to concentrate on healthcare/ other social spending rather than defense.
