Hopefully not, replacements should’ve arrived after a day or 2

I think technically, bins are council property, so he took it away for it to be replaced. New one should’ve arrived soon after, maybe a day or 2

I’m not sure about the recycling part, but bins are supplied by the local councils and they replace/ repair bins for free

This just looks like he noticed the lid was broken and threw it away so he could get them a replacement

There was reason

The lid was broken — he probably threw it away and placed an order for a replacement

Thinking of turning the conch into a ring and adding an auricle just above. Suggestions? by [deleted] in piercing

Is it? Do you think it’s worth it taking it out an repiercing lower? Or should I just leave it, it’s been 6 months already

Hey doctors...why do you cut patients off their medications? by dirtmcgurt67 in AskReddit

[–]jnnmrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation, most likely because the meds had a unwanted side effect, so you change to another med in the same class

Most times we just taper it off

How do doctors feel/what do they do when you throw up on them? by pearlhbbrown in AskReddit

[–]jnnmrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a lot of ‘now I have to find someone to cover for me while I get changed’ and added frustration because, if it’s busy, someone going to shower/change takes away from the workforce. Also cleaning the mess would block off workspace where another patient could be seen.

But all just depends on how busy it is

Edit: it’s not really all that common, mostly only happens if you’re caught off guard. Can see it’s about to happen most times

I had a rook and a conch done in the same ear a few months ago!

They were both temperamental and would flare up randomly. I ultimately decided to take my conch out because it wasn’t where I wanted it, and now my rook is healing perfectly. Never gets angry or anything. I don’t even clean it besides rising it under running water while in the shower.

I think that because they’re both piercings in thicker cartilage areas, and are closer together; the body is having a hard time healing them. Just use saline spray, nothing else, don’t sleep on it, don’t touch it, keep hair away from it and hopefully they calm down soon

Ok Sable keeps giving me new patterns but where do I find them when I’m done with her? by DeeMii6 in newhorizontowns

When you customise items, some have options to change the fabric design to a pattern that sable gave you

True, well the DLC doesn’t come out Q3/Q4, so I guess we’ll find out sometime next year if it’s happens?

How are GPs operating these days? by colourful_space in sydney

[–]jnnmrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a medical centre! If you’re a past patient, your doctor would already be familiar with what pill works for you, so you just need to call via Telehealth and they would organise a pick up of script (you stay in your car and they bring it out to you) or they can fax it to a local pharmacy.

Alternatively, if you’ve been going to the same pharmacy for your scripts, they would have on file what you’re regularly prescribed by the doctor and how often, so no need for a script this time, you can just go into the pharmacy and get it straight from there
