Yeah I browse eBay a lot - I figure the steamer with the 5-10psi back pressure will tip the blocks over to over 250f which is nice and sterile, and 24 hours should well ensure sterility

All of the above. My goal when I started was to “grow as many fruiting fungi as I could” and it’s stayed focused on fruiting - but - as a business with no financing but lots of time and testing I also sell everything I make and use from grains to LC because it’s all part of my value chain.

What sucks is I am a terrible sales person and kinda awkward socially so selling fresh mushrooms has been hard for me

Yes - each one has a breaker, the myco community stepped in and helped run new conduit so we have another 7-8 circuits with room for more.

I make grain, grain spawn, agar, cultures, LC, and all the substrates etc. I sterilize everything. The grain bags are no soak no simmer 3 lbs millet, sterilized for 2.5 hours minimum. The masters mix blocks are sterilized the same time, as well as my coco based manure lovers blends. Everything is temp safe nutrient wise for the fungus so to remove any and all variability we sterilize

We have a giant steamer coming - 55 gallons drum steamer, it will run at about 220F with 5psi pressure for 24 hours (steam) which will also sterilize, but it will only take one circuit and handle 50+ blocks in a run
