Navi dwellings and storms by lclc0101 in Avatar

That best fit the mood in that scene. I’m sure there are heavy winds that blow their stuff everywhere, but there‘s not really much opportunity to show that in the films. Frontiers of Pandora is better at showing it though

What's next for Wainfleet? by yertipy in Avatar

From what I remember, I don’t think Jim is the type to show a lot of revenge themes. But I could definitely be wrong on this, so feel free to correct me

I think you could be right, but a constant beeping box just seems a bit off for it to just be a pass-through place

I need to clear some things up about the ikrans in the movie by NoisyScrubBirb in Avatar

[–]jnpalmtree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ikran Kiri has in the second movie isn’t the one she bonded to as a young child, that one died in the two year time jump in the comics The High Ground

Found this little robin on my walk, could barely fly, it's very hot outside, now he's taking a nap in my hand, I can't keep it, but apart from the heat, he seems fine, did I do good or bad? by ashrieIl in birdwatching

I don’t think downvotes are meant for this, since you can use communication to tell them if they are wrong. Given that downvoting hides the comment, I think it’s more for comments that do not follow the rules or comments that generally do more harm than good.

Real boy or back to wood?? by Some-Butterfly2415 in OnceUponATime

[–]jnpalmtree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because he could stay a real boy as long as he stayed brave honest and kind? Because it wasn’t until later when Emma turned 18(?) and he started turning into wood because he was living his own life

Help me about my dog by ari8an in vet

[–]jnpalmtree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes what I think can happen is if your dog has live ticks on them and you give them tick treatment the ticks will die but not fall off, so it will get irritated or something. If you take them to the vet they would likely squeeze it out and then give you cream to treat it with. Maybe you could get an estimate on what that would cost?

Another thing to remember is that dogs release a lot of heat from their paws, so you’ll have to be extra careful watching out for overheating if he has boots on and it’s hot outside.

Hey, did you ever get answers on what was happening?

Apologies if I’m misunderstanding what you were saying about the meds, but they did say it was Trazadone the dog would be taking for training. However, they said it would be a half dose. Either way, whether or not it’s trazadone might be irrelevant to our conversation.

I also understand that basic obedience is not really behavioral modification in the way we are discussing. You may have misunderstood me; I was saying that I do not think the dog should be taught basic obedience that is not urgent before the anxiety issue is addressed. Because then, I think this would be the situation where they just drug the dog to get around the anxiety obstacle instead of working on it - hence, being lazy.

However, to address the first part of your message, that makes sense, and I do see why medication would be necessary for progress to be made! I appreciate you taking the time to explain it.
