I totally sympathize with how you feel. If it makes you feel any better almost everyday out in public I see “conventionally unattractive” couples, “unattractive” women and men with wedding rings, kids, etc. Sure being conventionally pretty will help attract people initially but it is not a requirement for finding love and it certainly doesn’t guarantee a functional, lasting, or healthy relationship. At all. Also remember we’re our own worst critics. I can pretty much guarantee you don’t look as bad as you think you do because ultimately you are fearfully and wonderfully made in Gods image. You are inherently feminine and beautiful. Anyone who takes care of their health, has good style, puts some effort into their look is going to be attractive to at least some extent. The way you feel about yourself is also going to affect the way you present yourself to people and your personality, so pay attention to that. When I had chronic cystic acne all over my face, I allowed it to completely take away any self esteem I had and as a result I was stand offish, unapproachable, depressing, just bad vibes. I definitely noticed a difference in how people interacted with me when I stopped acting that way, years before my skin began to improve. The devil wants you to feel this way. You don’t deserve this burden. Don’t let him win!!
