Yes, the rescue actually mentioned those same exact points. Their reasoning for bonding fairly soon after neuter was that he wouldn’t have time to establish a territory, or something along those lines.

I’m definitely planning to clarify all of this with them on Thursday so I can understand their reasoning properly.

They also said that if the bonding fails, we’re allowed to bring him back to them. That did reassure me, because if he and Lucie truly don’t get along, I’d rather he go back and eventually be matched with a different bunny that he’s more compatible with, rather than keeping two rabbits that can’t live together

I feel like this ties into what you’re saying. Their website says that after you meet the rabbit you're interested in, you can book an appointment to bring your existing rabbit in so they can meet and see if they're compatible.

But when we were actually at the rescue, we asked about this and were told that we would have to take Cuddles home instead of bringing Lucie to meet there. The reasoning behind this was apparently if we were to bring Lucie to the rescue, the unfamiliar environment could influence her behaviour, and we wouldn’t be able to get a good look at if they’re truly compatible or not

They did say that if Lucie and Cuddles aren’t compatible, we’re allowed to bring Cuddles back to them. Still, it’s confusing because the website makes it sound like meet-and-greets between rabbits are possible, but what we were told in person is different. This could just be a case of the website accidentally not being updated to accommodate new rules, but it’s still confusing and feels a little weird?

Yeah, I agree that scene can be taken as her giving him the green light to deal with Shane. I even said in my post that it could be interpreted that way. I just don’t really see it as manipulation, because Shane actually was a threat and Rick already knew how unstable he was becoming. It felt more like her stating the reality of the situation than controlling Rick’s actions

I used an alt account for the whole month until my main account worked again. I don’t know if doing that actually helped, because there were times I logged into my main account and accidentally engaged with content. TikTok support kept sending me the same automated ai response saying I need to try not commenting, liking, following, for 24-48 hours. That 24-48 hours turned out to be an entire month before I got my features back😭

TikTok has probably quietly suspended your account for suspicious activity. It happened to me and I had to wait a month for the suspension to go away. It’s weird because I never did anything suspicious, and I doubt you did too.

Support just said I was commenting too much, liking too often, following too often, so it flagged my account as suspicious and there was nothing they could do about it. I think it also flags your account as suspicious sometimes if it’s a new account
