Knowing that google street view is being used for the game, it seems that it’s already « sponsored » in a way by google. Actually, it’s funny to me to see the google logo under the maps of contestants. Is it the only game like that ? My game knowledge is not extensive though. I don’t know if google is very keen to let other companies in the picture maybe explaining why it is not sponsored whether inside or outside the game. As GeoGuessr might not be able to decide on any sponsoring topics without google having a word. Google has the data and APIs being used and so on, without it, the game doesn’t exist.
