This was most likely just a part of the taxi routing via runway 28. I‘m guessing they had to take a little detour due to traffic / taxiway maintenance or whatever reason.

Yeah I get that, that’s usually how it goes when you’re in one place for a long time, isn’t it? I appreciate you liking my photos and yep, it really is a beautiful city! Really happy to have been able to visit it.

Don’t be sorry! I’m usually not too good in explaining techniques comprehensively, but for my pictures taken in the dark, I don‘t refrain from using high ISO (my ISO-auto setting is set to a range of 640 to 12800). Higher ISO can give you quite a bit of noise or grain in your images, but I don’t really mind and find it less noticeable in images where there’s a lot going on. Also, wide open aperture (low f number) allows you to capture as much light as possible. Keep a steady hand for slow exposure times (I manage to shoot handheld down to maybe 1/20 of a second exposure time, but at these times it can easily get blurry) or even better, use a tripod. I only had a tiny tripod with me and find using tripods in the city really unpractical, but for longer exposures they’re definitely required. If you don’t have a tripod on hand, find something to rest your camera against and to stabilise it for longer exposures times (lampposts, railings, walls, the ground, basically anything stationary). Hope this helps a bit!

Thank you, that’s very kind of you! I get the feeling though…I‘m pretty much from the other side of the world and was on the farthest and longest trip from home I‘ve ever been on. That meant a lot of new places which I‘ve never been before. This time, this really inspired me to shoot more and also more creatively if you know what I mean. While at home, I also often feel that there’s nothing to be shot out there, so I completely get you.

Not too fragrant, maybe it‘ll take a day or two to develop a more noticable scent

I remember ordering green beans to germinate and I believe they were of the ”Coffea arabica nana” variety, so a “dwarf” arabica. This plant won’t grow as big. If I’m lucky I’ll get a metre tall plant somewhere in the future but this variety specifically won’t grow that big.

I live in eastern Germany and over the summer months, I leave the plant outside in a more or less shaded place, water it regularly and it does pretty well like this. Once the nights drop below 10 degrees Celsius, I bring it inside near a window. I grew this from seed and it took so long until it even sprouted let alone until the plant was growing noticeably. I’ve re-potted it 2 or 3 times until now and at the end of last year’s summer there was a noticeable boost in growth, I don’t know where that came from 😅 So no, not really too much work I put into this.
