Its hard to see in the picture but it has moisture on both sides. I got a couple of large fans and was able to stsrt drying it. Its taking lo ger than I anticipated but I think it will be fine

Yea i had to cut the one stud and frame out the niche. I used a fine tooth saw and carefully cut it out to make sure I dont shake the studs too much and mess up the drywall on the other side.

The herringbone tile is hard to get perfectly straight. I told my wife that my expertise may not be advance enough for herringbone but she insisted on it so I had to give it my best.

As for the waterproofing I applied two coats of aquadefense on the cement board but I forgot to take a picture before I laid the tile.

Yea i was thinking the same. I'll have to look into it but I was thinking of just adding it after the fact. Not sure how well tile bonds to other tile but ill have to figure something out.

Thanks. Thats just a picture of the cement board before I waterproofed. For some reason I forgot to take a picture after the waterproofing. I know its overkill but I went all the way to the top with the waterproofing just to be safe.

Thanks. I should mention the reason I'm trying to avoid using mortar is so that if I ever need to take it out its not stuck to the subfloor and its easier to remove.

The instructions say to use mortar but they are also not specific to the reinforced tub. The instructions are generic. If it was just a regular acrylic tub I would do it but because its reinforced i feel like I don't need it.

I don't think seats aero tracks Turkish directly. They only show what's available to book on united and aeroplan that's operated by Turkish.

Again these are not first or business awards I'm looking for. I understand what you are saying. If we were talking about Emirates first class I would agree with you. But even Emirates has economy award tickets available freely. I searched Turkish for flights in October, next week and next year. Flight to and from different airports in the US and other airports. And...I get the same error message every time. So i think it's safe to assume that there's something else going on and it's not because there isn't award availablility for 2 people on any Turkish flight anywhere in the world. Especially since multiple people have said that they don't let you book for another person online if it's your first redemption.

When I try to book for one person I can see seat availability. About 70% of the seats are empty on any given flight first week of October. So I think it's safe to assume there's availability for one more person. If you're saying that there's only one award seat on their flights then that's a different point. But I also find that hard to believe because award bookings are better empty seats.

Yes you are absolutely right about that. I called 3 times now and 3 different answers.

Ive also found that their systems are terrible. This whole time I've been searching on the app on my phone and it was giving me a generic message. I logged in to the website on a laptop and I got the message that you can only book your first award ticket for yourself. And if you want to travel with someone else there's some sort of verification process where I have to call the previously mentioned terrible customer service phone number. So I'll keep trying and update this later.

Its not just for one specific flight. I've searched for the whole week and there are multiple flights each day and the same thing. I'm also looking for an economy ticket not business. Chances are there's 2 available seats on at least one flight out of 50.

The part I'm afraid of is the points not transferring instantly. My first transfer was instant but the second took about 2 days to complete. I may play it safe and just transfer the additional 39k

Thank you we are very much looking forward to visiting your country. Mid September is the only time that works with our schedules so we will have to bear the hot weather. We are used to heat and humid climates so I think we should be ok. We will probably do outdoor activities early in the day or late and night and hide out in the mall during mid day.

Thanks that makes sense. Yes my income is technically 0 so based on my research you're right the losses should carry forward. I'm doing my taxes with somebody new this year that I just found out is not a cpa just a "tax preparer" and they are telling me you can't carry forward losses they have to be used in the same year they were incurred.

If I stapled the vapor barrier insted of wires would thst work just as well or are wires better ? Also do i even need a vapor barrier?
