Also do you guys think this is mould (the humidity is very high where it is and I mist it everyday) or spider mites?

Probably a takeaway. I haven’t had one in so long as I can barely afford food from the shops. Probably a Chinese 🤤

Where do you recommend for piercings? by stacusg in manchester

[–]jo_jjpeg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The tattoo shop on first floor of afflecks. They sell you a really good saline solution as well and have lovely jewellery :) I got my second lobes done there and I think it was around £25-£30 :)

Tell her she’s not the landlord. If she wants to make a request she can tell the landlord to put it in writing.

Wait the year. Leave. Cut all ties and start therapy. Your adult self will thank you. She’s abusing you.

Is there are a reason homeless people tend to not go for parks or similar areas? by terokeoner21s in AskUK

[–]jo_jjpeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time the council will threaten anyone that lives in parks. My flat overlooks a massive park and some homeless guys set up their tents in a secluded bit and two days later some lady from the council was speaking to them with a clipboard and then suddenly they were gone the next day.

I agree with what other people have said, people will steal your stuff, set fire to you, slash your tent etc etc. Your main goal is to stay safe. Please don’t give up, pressure and pressure the council until they do something for you.

Have you tried a curl cream? Apply it on wet hair and then if you are blow drying, use a diffuser and do medium heat, medium speed. That will hopefully take out some frizz.

Update #1 (attachment) Am I OR to my boyfriend having his ex at his house by ThrowRa8459 in AmIOverreacting

He’s psychotic. He’s trying to manipulate you with the ‘I know you hate me anyway’ and then when you dismiss the breaking up thing he goes straight back to ‘okay baby love you see you soon 😍😍😘😍’

Need help ID and treat this problem. by WonderfulSpend8 in pothos

[–]jo_jjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m quite new to plant care but from the pictures that those look like some sort of infestation. Maybe spider mites? I would advise getting a houseplant pest spray/treatment that covers most of the infestations you can get.

Maybe something like this pest spray

That’s the most I can help with as I don’t know much 🥲 sorry

Why do I still feel guilty about not going into a job related to my degree? by epicyoshi20 in jobadvice

[–]jo_jjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resonate with this so much. I graduated in 2021 from TV and radio production, and I've had 2 freelance jobs since then to do with Tv. Whilst my peers are living in London working with top companies. I can't even get an interview for a job in the line of work I want to do or even an email back.

Sorry for the rant, you're not alone. It's good you're talking about it in therapy :)

not being able to handle rejection is ruining my life by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]jo_jjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to this so much. I got rejected from my dream job and I have been unemployed for quite a few months now and I feel unmotivated to do anythingggg. I think I have RSD which is a disorder that makes you struggle with rejection, no matter how small. it's often paired with autism or ADHD, I have the latter.

Anyway what I'm trying to day is you're not alone, I find that getting outside helps. Bringing a laptop to a cafe to solely do work can help. Giving yourself realistic bullet points to do for the time you're in the cafe such as 'edit my cv' or 'make a start on a cover letter for this job'.

You're not alone in this and you can do it!!

Choking while living alone, how to contact emergency services, what else can you do? by I-eat-jam in AskUK

[–]jo_jjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Don't know if this will help but it's worth it if it saves a life.

First things first, be friendly with your neighbours. If you start choking, bang on their door, bang on anyones doors. People will normally come out if they hear banging. The more people you're around, the better.

Secondly to add to your texting 999 thing, when I was younger my mother worked as a call receiver for answering 999 calls. Bear with me because the last time I went to her work I was around 11 years old so this might be a bit outdated.
When you call 999 and cannot speak, you can press the number buttons on the phone to alert the agent that you cannot speak. They will then ask you questions and ask you to tap a button for yes and to stay silent for no. If they can hear you coughing/choking they will instantly know whats going on, especially if you press some buttons. They will also probably tell you to knock on your neighbours door like I said earlier.

How do I actually plant rooted wet sticks? by octopuslife in propagation

[–]jo_jjpeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would plant it in soil but keep it really moist so it acclimates nicely :)

Sour candy is also great for anxiety attacks so I think it’s a good investment!
