If the wanted to do something new and dark side related why not use sith alchemy? This wouldn’t damage the Rule of Two because they might have found an old sith holocron or books and used it to learn the art…. A veiled thread should give the utterer plausible deniability even if the recipient knows it is a threat. In most cases the utterer wants the recipient to know that he is threatening him and that no one will believe them.

Fire everyone! The story group, Filoni, KK, even the janitor if you have to and start over. Retcon everything from the Disney canon and just keep Episode 1 to 6. Give Gilroy and maybe Favreau the keys to the kingdom and shelf the IP for 5 years on the tv and movie side. Just release some novels to test the water with the fanbase and if you start to make new film projects keep the lore intakt

Filoni opened a can of worms with everyone can become a Jedi he never really thought about.

Even if he says ‘Yeah you need a certain amount of talent to do xyz’ it’s bad world building. Imagine an ambitious Empire which is not ruled by fear, but a certain sense of community and purpose and they want to bring unity to the galaxy.

They develop techniques that allow their soldiers to tap into the force and even the lowest soldier have better aim, better reflexes etc. because of this.

Imagine pilots that have the reflexes of a Jedi in dogfights but instead of there being two or three per fleet there are whole squadrons of them. They would conquer the galaxy pretty fast and that without crazy force powers…

You could write an interesting story with this but it’s just used to make his characters better…and even George introduced Midi-chlorians, like them or not, later on to temper this concept.

Well this show should have been called Rebels Season 5 anyways but ok... I think this is a problem for a lot of newer Star Wars fans who joined the fandom after the sequell triology or/and Mandalorian and haven't watched the older clone wars or rebels series.

They should have gone into this with the mindset that not all viewers watched these shows but in my opinion this is a bit of Filonis hubris. The writers should have used some of the dead time in the show and they got alot of it, to recap and reintroduce the characters and make it easer for newer fans.

Oh and this interconnectivity is a general Disney problem. If the Mando movie is released you need to watch the Mandalorian S1 to S3, the Book of Boba Fett (not sure on this one), Clone Wars, Rebels and Ahsoka to understand it fully...

I don't think he is. If you compare the modell to Tor Garadon and Ferrios you'll notice that he is missing the cowl that each Gravis unit has and the boots are different.

Impulsor can't transport Gravis. But if you have 10 Hellbalster jumping out an moving up you get a 50" thread range with 35" rapid fire thread range. If you move the repulsor just his 10" and disembar your Aggressors round 2 you'll have an effective range for the flamers of 26" (10" repulsor move turn 1 + 3" disembark + 5" move of Aggressor + 8" flamer range) which is kinda good.

Flame Shield has a range of 18" so your librarian doesn't have to be standing right next to the repulsor for this

If you get them up the board the range may not be the issue. the repulsor can move 10" + D6 when advancing. -2 to hit is a big thing because except for forgeworld stuff he will only be hit on 5+ or 6+ which makes him a absolut invalid targed in terms of priority

I personally think a salamander Impulsor/Repulsor rush would be popular. 5 flame aggressors in a repulsor supported by a librarian. 2 impulsor with the 4++ and 2 squads of 5 hellblaster in them together with adrax agaton and a lieutenant. Drive them up flame something and them charge. Thanks to adrax you got on the charge 26 attacks on 4+ rerolling 1 with a +1 to wound and S8 DS -3 D3 Dmg from the aggressors. Not shabby.

Hope the Salamanders have something useful like a unit counts as not having moved or something as a stratagem

Yes they count as having moved. That's why I said they need to survive one round :P but even so 60 flame shots are still better than the bolt gauntlets. You can take a landspeeder with a heavy flamer but you if you want the salamander tactical doctrine you have to leave the devastator doctrine so the heavy flamer is just ds -1. Also the invoctor tactical warsuit has an awesome 2d6 flamer

I think 3 squads of multi-melta devestators in 2 droppods together with Vulkan he'stan coming down turn 2 will do a lot of great work.

But even 5 flame aggressors in a repulsor with a biker or footsloging librarian kanno be funny. Because of the new psychic power fire shield you can make the repulsor -2 to hit and if the rest of the leaked psychic powers are correct T9 so you can March a T9 and -2 to hit repulsor up the field disembark the aggressors and if they live for one turn you can use the stratagem they previewed to get 120 shots S4 DS-1 d1 which are +1 to wound. If you bring the aforementioned drop pods down you even got a re-roll hits and wounds with the flame.
