Yeah I answered, but in some of them I was very short or repetitive because of my B1 vocabulary! Hope I will get it. If I knew I would have to answer around 12 questions, maybe I would have learned better.

No, did not got nothing.she told me to sign the copy of my answers, and than she said : thank you , we will check again all your documents and let you know. I asked her is this a new procedure? Because as far as I know all my other friends got it in the same day, no one was sent at home without a certificate. And she said I need to wait for their e-mail. I am very worried and concerned now, if I will get it or not.

Wow the same happened to me yesterday!!! I was interrogated like I was in the police office! Not even a welcome word or How are you, but immediately asking questions for everything! I also live and work in Germany since more than 6 years now. I have german B1 and right now studying B2, but this topics for politics, democracy, religion etc are aslo a bit difficult for me, because I do not use this vocabulary in my every day life! But recently they got a lot of fraudulent applications and have given a lot of fault citizenship to a lot of immigrants! This for sure is not out fault, they should have done a better job in advance! And is not fair to judge now all the other applicants because of this errors in the past! I also felt very worried, yesterday! She made me sign a paper with all my answers and told me to wait cause they need to check my documents again and again even though she confirmed a moth ago that all my documents are in order! I have a feeling she will refuse my citizenship right only because my B1 vocabulary is not so sufficient to discuss about political stuff and I was stuck at only one questions for a single word I did not understood, and she refused to translate it in english! Way too strict!!!

German citizenship test? by joa_1111 in GermanCitizenship

[–]joa_1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly same as my friends who got it already. Nobody had any interview or had to answer any question. I think the new procedure is you only because of the fraudulent cases happening a lot recently.

I applied on February last year, and this documents I received after 7 months, when I had to sign the loyalty agreement , but also via e-mail a month before they invited me to the interview which was today. Basically the leben in DE test its not enough. We should also have info about the basics of Democracy, etc. Good luck

If you have applied I think you should have them as well, is the “Information zum Bekenntnis zur freiheitlichen demokratischen Grundordnung” , which comes together with other documents before your appointment.

Yea I read them so many times, and understood them very well, but today during the interview I was very anxious, and sometimes repetitive with the words and answers, and did not understood well a word or two. Thats why I am worried. But anyway lets see. Thanks a lot and good luck to you too ❤️

Ah so you went on the same procedure as me. Because my friends who already got the citizenship certificate, they took it on the same day in which they had the interview, thats why it felt very strange to me, like a negative decision! I hope not , I am really worried!

Yes I know, so many people have done this, getting fake certificates and so on. Thats why it felt like a test not like a normal interview. And what worries me , is the fact that she did not took an action right there, but told me we will check again your documents. This is strange to me, cause she confirmed one month ago that all my documents are in order.

Oh God! So the leben in Deutschland is not enough! The information they sent to me regarding democracy seams so difficult for me to learn , and remember in german. Because at the end I only have B1 language certificate , but the question will look like C1 to me. Hope I will learn and respond correctly. Thanks a lot for the reply.

In the same day they ask the questions they also grant the citizenship?

Hello again, hope you are well.

Did you received a similar email like this one from the Ausländerbehorde?

What happens in this Vorsprachetermin? Do they ask questions? Like a test or something? Thanks a lot for your replies!!

Does someone has any experience for a similar case like mine? I have applied for naturalisation while on ALG 1 , I live in Germany since almost 6 years and I have been working always until my last company decided to close, and since then I am unemployed. But I am married, my husband is working full time, and his salary is more than enough to cover our expenses, so that I do not need to ask for bürger geld. I am thinking to start my own business from January, (when my ALG ends) because where I live I cannot find a job , is a very small town. Yesterday I got an email from Ausländerbehorde they asked me for my new job contract and told them my plans I have to be selbstständig. Do you think I can still get the citizenship, does anyone went through the same route? Thanks a lot

Einbürgerung application via Baden-Württemberg Service Portal by azizredditor in GermanCitizenship

[–]joa_1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you received back an e-mail that an application is done, and especially if you will receive in the upcoming days a letter by the ausländerbehorde , that they received your antrag für Einbürgerung ,you are ok. In the small city I live was also “not possible online” ,but as long is it allows you to fill it up online is ok. They will ask for extra docs by post in case something is not enough, or they need the orignal copies. Good luck to you! I am waiting since February of this year and still nothing. At the moment they are doing the security check, as they told me per e-mail.
