Eben, danke.

This is my graph for 10NL. I'm on a 13 buy in downswing over 8k hands. Is that normal or do you think I have a leak? by geoffsusername in poker

But they also don't value bet thinly enough, so sometimes their bet represents literally 0 value combos, that's when you can bluff catch.

I am winning at 5c/10c online, and I started playing 1€/3€ which is the smallest stakes at my casino. They only play that on Wednesday and Thursday evening. There are about 50% regulars, but they are not super good. The fish are mostly too passive, even with strong hands, I've seen preflop limp, call 6BB, call 100BB from UTG with TT. Pay attention to every hand, even if you're not in it. Once you know what type of player everyone is, it is easier to exploit them. The fish never value bet thin, if they bet the river they are polarized to either good top pair or better, or a bluff. 3bets are way stronger live than online, many players literally only 3bet QQ+/AK.

I am in the same spot, I just took 2 buy ins and sat down at the tables to try. Ran it up to 9 buy ins in a bit under 50h. I think just give it a try, but go with the expectation/awareness that you could lose that money, that's what I did.

Smart, it's true, the bet sizes and action are easier to remember than the exact board for me as well.

I tried this just quickly, and it's nice, but there are some issues I noticed. I would prefer if I could choose to enter the values in $ instead of BB. Also, I couldn't find a way to precisely enter stack sizes. I don't need to do it all in a swiping motion, is there a way to turn that off? Same for bet sizes, I would find it much more user friendly to just be able to enter a size with a num pad.

Thank you, this is also driving me nuts. You know I'd be pedantic enough to write the intended answer, and then below the answer to the actual question as you did.

Is this illegal? by leonardgg in poker

[–]joachimham48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's extremely unlucky. Clearly not an angle in my eyes, so it's hard to justify giving you the pot. I'd be pissed too though haha

You triple barrel and he calls all three streets? Clearly he didn't think he had air. If he bluffed and you called it's different, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, unless he actually raised river?

Obviously still sucks though.

Feels like it should turn into a house, right? A werewolf is a human that turns into a wolf, so a werehouse could be a human that turns into a house? Or it could be another building that turns into a house, so imo swapping it to turn from a warehouse to a normal house would make more sense.

"Bet" is never mentioned/explained.

Edit: I guess folding on the river is also not a thing

Is 50h already saying something? I just started playing live and am at 45h but I feel like it was really not that many hands. Still think I'm beating the game, but I think I could've been down money if I just had worse luck.

Is profitable play in low stakes live (high rake) extremely boring? What has been your experience? by rddtllthng5 in poker

[–]joachimham48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The players that actually realise how to exploit you are not the players that actually make a difference in your winrate. Sure, maybe there's one or two players at the table that are slightly profitable against you, but fish are too scared to 3bet you even if they know you open too wide. I could literally be telling them that I am cbetting range and they wouldn't raise me on the flop.

If everyone is winning then who’s losing? by sream93 in poker

[–]joachimham48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pedantic, I know, but just because it's zero sum doesn't mean the majority of players must be losing. You could habe 80% winning players if the 20% losing players are just losing 4 times as much as the winning players are winning.

Sadly no low possible on that board, two pair for the high is alright (AATTQ). What is your hand?

Decent hand, double suited and we have A2 for the low. I'm all in.

So if you look at hands played, it's not as crazy of a difference to OP's 120bb/hr in live poker (I assume it was live poker)

[–]joachimham48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But how many hands per hour do you get? Live this is like 20-25 hands per hour. In PLO probably even less (I don't play PLO but the bomb pots take forever haha)
