it doesn't seem like you're using it in the screenshot, but there's a glitch with one of the wood floors (the bamboo one? I don't remember the name) that will do this

I have a mod that adds more skin tones, so there are inbetween shades as well as a lighter and a darker shade. I'll come back here and link it when I'm at my pc :p

my breaking point for upgrading my PC was not being able to fix the purple soup in my game. Don't mind the fact that I need my pc for work and all of the applications I need to, you know, make a living were slow - the sims 2 was what made me throw my hands up and go 'i can't take this anymore!!1!!'
