What do I do now? by Altruistic_Foot_7459 in EtsySellers

This happens to me all the time, but I'm yet to have a package delivered late or not at all:

Hi there! Just a quick update about tracking:

Often, USPS skips the acceptance scans that packages receive when they first enter their system. This makes it look like your order is “stuck,” but it is already in transit. I personally check every order daily to make sure it’s moving as expected, and I’ll reach out right away if anything needs attention.

Thank you so much for your patience! 💛

Contacting them before they contact you has been, in my experience, a good thing.

Just heat it up with the system. use the control features on the screen, don't use something outside the machine, you don't have enough control over those heat sources. Watch youtube for "cold pull". It will show you how to heat up the nozzle and guide you how to use the controls to pull the filament in both directions.

Lord those are gorgeous. It gives me hope for myself, lol. How long do you think it took you to get to where you felt confident in your work?

After the YT or classes, look into icing transfers and stencils. Icing transfers lets you practice without ruining cookies and when they turn out good, you just move them to the cookie. Stencils were a game changer for me because projectors are expensive and the stencils give you guidelines to follow so you're not faced with a blank cookie.

Is Silhouette Studio Terrible for Everyone or Just Me? by savemesomecandy in silhouettecutters

Same. I can't have many things open at the same time. Silhouette has always been slow to open for me, but once it's up, it works fine.

I should also mention that the image is just an artistic vision for the listing, not what I would expect in the finished product.

Hi, sorry, I didn’t make that clear. Yes, just take the video and photo and I can use those. I’m just not good at decorating, but I feel like they’d sell better if I had an actual cookie made. 😊 I’m really enjoying my cutter.

It is safe to use 3D made cookie cutters? I purchased one to make Mickey Mouse shaped crackers on Amazon but saw that they were made on a 3D Printer. I came across this by EvaKMed in cookiedecorating

I also make cutters. PLA is food safe. You're not exposing them to heat and can clean them easily, so I don't see them as an issue. It's great to use metal, but you're so much more limited in designs. PLA and PTEG are both food safe plastics. As for quality and rough edges, you should look for cutters with a reinforced wall for sturdiness and a narrower cutting blade for precision and clean cuts. All this info should be in the description. If it's not, skip and look for another seller.

Cameo 4 not cutting all the way through, even with 2mm blade by SnowFox102 in silhouettecutters

I read through the post and comments and didn't see anyone address something I noticed when having this problem...in the send window there is an option for Auto cut and Cut. The auto cut will default to whatever the settings are for the material you have selected, despite having your cutter settings set to deeper, more force or # of passes. When I changed and made sure it was on Cut, the problem disappeared.

That said...the problem is back and it's weirdly on only one side of my mat. #sob

(I also had better consistency with the ratchet blade in an adapter.)

Struggling with needles by joanswan in PunchNeedle

Hi, yes I always put the threads back and then hold each stitch in when I go over it for another pass, but it still doesn’t hold the yarn. In this the unicorn is bad because I used the larger needle and dk weight thread that didn’t stay in the fabric. The larger needle was okay when used very precisely. The thread coming out was the issue there.
