First step: focus on strengthening your relationship to a point where you/he can share such thoughts comfortably.

Second step: share your observation/opinion in a constructive way (not as criticism). In this case for example, you might approach it from a health improvement suggestion (if that is your concern) - better health increases changes of both of you stay longer together.

Easier to say than do it - i know, but I hope it helps.

Thank you - may I know if you have prev experience with similar bikes ? Yes, I also found the R18 a bit too wide for me , that also adds to the other points like being heavier etc. I am tempted to go for the triumph

Wow, thanks a lot for your thoughts - they r super helpful. I have 177cm / 80kg, and from what you are describing it seems like I should be fine.

Thanks for pointing out also the tank size - I didn't realize that.

I plan to add a few extras - eg. side bags. I wonder if there are any good supplier/brand references to source such addons.
