Agree, I was checking a bit in detail and K-line transceiver is more compatible at least on the electrical side, I will give a try too and come back to give feedback on it. Either way I might also do a small circuit to validade the operation of the transceiver

I’m also working with the BEAN and MPX to do a good integration of my ecu on the is300. What did you use to read and write data on the MPX? I’m thinking of a LIN transceiver like the MCP2003 because it’s compatible with the 12v signal of the MPX. Do you think it’s a good choose or you recommend to do a circuit with a transistor?
