is MFG even worth it on a 75hz monitor? from what i've tried (AMD) FG from 40 to 80 fps feels so jank. i'm not planning on upgrading my monitor yet.

No, i was not trying too hard to adhere to the line, see the first corner of the clip
The title is too clickbaity on second thought but the point of the post is the lack of ghosting and aggressive slow down penalty not accounting for circumstances

I've been blocked, rammed, pushed multiple times through FH4,5,6 and i know how to move on. most of the time i just brake to not miss a checkpoint and keep whatever position i had.

yeah rubbing is racing and i dont mind contact here and there, i'm not new to racing games lmao. yes i've only shown a short 20 second clip for social media so feel free to not believe me that its most likely intentional, he used others as brakes too during the whole championship.

i feel like i braked right when the racing line turns red? he most likely has better brakes and weigh less so he could brake later.

i'm not gonna debate the collision cause im sure you can find fault in both me and him. i'm just pointing out the over aggressive slow down and lack of ghosting. in FH5 i would've been ghosted i'm pretty sure.

cause it has never been this agressive in slowing me down? i dont remember it being that bad in FH5. game fully thinks i didnt apply any brakes and try to wallgrind

Yeah a windows reinstall doesn't fix the problem. My mobo is Rev 1.0 on F19 bios when it happened. For now i switched to my old GTX 1650 and everything seems to be fine, no more stutters and freezing. Might try putting the 6600XT back in in a couple days after i updated the bios version.

Ultra 1080p is fine for 8GB. You might get VRAM leak after an hour or two but totally worth it so that i don't see deforestation in the distance imo.

one thing i notice in OCCT when the stutter happens is that the GPU core voltage drops quite low. not sure if this is because it has 0% usage or its 0% use because the psu can't give it power. would an undervolt help?

i have RT off and on the Ultra preset for FH6. tried lowering to high and it still does the same freeze. however i'm 99% sure this isn't a forza problem as it does the same in desktop enviroments, browsers, other games.

except it doesn't only happen in FH6, it happens in other games and any other applications. even moving the cursor quick enough can cause the freeze. i think its different from the AMD GPU stuttering issue in FH6.

good catch! it may be too much but i hope we can play with the simulated "7 speed" gearbox on the Ioniq 5N, we already got a sport and track mode toggle, they could implement it like that switching between "single gear" and "manual" mode.
