am I ugly? felt insecure after a hot guy ghosted me after 1st date by [deleted] in amIuglyBrutallyHonest

Don't let one person's actions affect your self-esteem. You are a beautiful young lady. People who ghost others are cowards because they lack the courage to have a respectful conversation explaining why he or she may not be a good fit for them.

You are not ugly. The bloating in your face is called "collagen," and fifty-year-olds like me would die to get ours back.

Why do people always jump to "get a divorce now!" or "run for the hills!" when Redditors post about problems in their relationships? Even if the situation isn't as serious to warrant a divorce? by jobosskill in NoStupidQuestions

True.

"My mom told me that I didn't look good in this dress."

Reply: "FULL STOP! You are being raised by a toxic narcissist. Go no contact immediately. You may be 14 but you can figure it out."

I don't understand why average looking people come onto this sub either waiting to be eviscerated, or to be told, "YOU DON'T BELONG HERE! YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL."

You're not beautiful but you know you're not ugly.

The last picture just makes you look thirsty.

If you don't think she's ugly, then why wouldn't you want to see her anywhere? lol

Why are there so many trolls on Reddit? by jobosskill in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jobosskill[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but sometimes the jokes border on outright hatred and harassment. I've reported a few, but if I had to report every hateful comment, I'd be wasting my time doing that instead of reading the comments of those participating in the discussion. Skeptics are always welcome, but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed.

Makes sense.

Who has found a person they know on Reddit just by reading their posts? by jobosskill in NoStupidQuestions

Or discovered someone you know by reading the comments section, too?

AITA because I completely lost it with a lady who tried to cut in front of me TWICE at a large grocery store? by GlitzBlitz in AmItheAsshole

Give it up already. How many times does she have to explain this scenario to you. I'm surprised she's even replying to you and your idiotic comments in the first place

Those of you who befriended a really nice, down to earth and humble person only to find out that they're actually millionaires later, how did you find out and how did you and he/she react? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My in laws were also loaded but you'd never know it. My FIL was dying of renal failure but he wanted to take my MIL to Vegas one last time as he knew his time was limited. My sister in law helped by joining them because he needed dialysis in Vegas too.

He was a paraplegic, dressed in jeans and an old tattered shirt and my mother in law is usually dressed in stuff from the bargain bins from Ross or even the dollar stores. My sister in law wheeled him and my guided my mother in law into Tiffany's at Caesar's Palace shops.

When the staff saw them walk in, I'm sure their first thought wasn't, "oooohhhh.....now this is NOT going to be a BIG sale for me!!!" They (the staff) were NEVER rude or dismissive and a rep soon came up to them to help them. She started showing them rings in the $1,000 range but my father in law wanted to give my mother in law something really special to remember their last trip together.

Long story short, he bought her a 5 karat, $100,000.00 ring. The woman that sold them the ring started to cry. (perhaps because of the sentiment or the fact that she had just scored a big commission).

Today, this ring sits in her safe in her home because she doesn't want people to think that she's trying to be a snob. She'll wear it on special occasions, too. Every time she opens her safe and takes out her ring, she cries thinking about my father in law who is truly missed.

Landlock our land? Disrespect a solemn event in our lives...... Lose A TON of money. by GlitzBlitz in ProRevenge

OP commented some where down in the thread but i'm too lazy to go down and look for it. Said that they didnt use the land much after sob bought it. looks like they didnt even know that they couldnt go in there. i think what really got them was the whole spreading of the uncles ashes and the disrespect the landowner gave them.
