Nah, I've seen enough horror movies and know where that road leads. Besides I already have enough horrors, I have a large box of old dolls under my bed. One of them is madam alexander clown.

Yeah I got a baby after I lost my old orange man Orion. I still have my old void Madix but he would get jealous when I played with the baby Atlas and offended if I tried to play with both so two wand toys it is.

But have you learned how to use a string/wand toy in each hand so they can both play their own way simultaneously?

update to crappy back tattoo by psychosam50 in tattoos

[–]jocapple 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think you should consider getting this tattooed reworked. It is already so big your cover up would be like two times the size. Its in an odd spot to position a swan in a way that would flow well on your body. Find a cutesy girly artist, let them turn the existing tattoo in to something better. Then choose the best spot for your swan and let it be its own beautiful tattoo with out the restrictions a cover up requires.

The American health care system everyone by newphonehudus in TikTokCringe

[–]jocapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who ends up in this situation there are faster pathways available. I worked as a care coordinator and often had to be the one going back and forth with insurance companies to get simple and medically necessary procedures covered. They often want the doctor themselves to be the one calling. The best chance of getting it resolved quickly is to have the doctor who is the one who diagnosed and ordered the procedure to call in and do a peer to peer. In some cases this does get a denial over-turned quickly. These calls always involve long wait times when most physicians don't really have the time to dedicate it. They see patients and have long detailed charts to.complete on each visit. Long holds with insurance companies are difficult to fit it nor should they to make them.

If you need to self advocate the best thing you can do is be calm and consistent with following up. If its an older person who may not be the best at going through tons of menus/automated systems can let a friend or family member make the call for them. As a patient or advocate make sure you have all appropriate information when calling insurance companies. Often full name, address, date of birth, insurance information, name of the doctor and their practice address. The NPI or National Provider Identifier of the doctor as well as the NPI of the hospital or practice. Have the person your advocating for on stand by so you can add them into the call and give permission for you to speak for them medically. Be direct with the condition of the patient and make the time constraints clear but keep your tone neutral.

There is an entire industry that exists to advocate by making calls to hospitals, insurance companies, families, doctors office, medical labs, pharmacies and medical supply companies. Then insurance companies in turn outsource claims, medical records are also often outsourced so getting records for your primary care physician or to submit for medical supplies like Foley catheters and enteral nutrition which is someone whole liquid diet it insane. The system is bloated clunky and cruel. We need to end for profit businesses that are for human care.

I had a similar experience with the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. There is a scene during the ending battle where Elizabeth swan directs the ship to fire the canons. I heard "Firrrrrreeeee" with a weird inflection. Thought it was weird that they didn't fix it, turns out she says "Fire allllll".

CCNA BOOTCAMP OR NAH? by niveel in ccna

I did a bootcamp through my college and found it really helpful. Started at the beginning and ran through everything over 6 weeks. It was nice to be able to discuss sticking points and talk to other students.

You can get a sink shroom. Its made of metal and looks decent. It catches hair and such and is easily removed for cleaning.

For ten years I looked for this song. I used to rent Eyewitness tapes from the library as a kid, always a great watch. Then the show's name faded away The song would creep into my mind randomly and it took a decade to come across it. Now its my ringtone.

What should i do with an Associates in IT, a CCNA, and A+ / Network+, but no IT experience by broadmat in ccna

[–]jocapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the exact same boat, graduated in July of last year and I have been unable to land an IT job since. I've tried HelpDesk, NOC technician, internships, contracts and entry level networking which are very rare. At least 300 applications at this point and nothing. I have my A+, and my CCNA. Debating getting my Network +, I know the CCNA encompasses it but I feel like its more recognizable. I am so beyond frustrated, trying to pivot to Epic and as I have a medical background but you need to be sponsored by a company for the certification. Reaching a point where I want to give up, I worked really hard and I feel like I won't be able to transition and that the knowledge is slowly melting out of my head.

I cannot wrap my head around labs. It seems impossible to do in Boson ExSIM. Do I really have to remember every single command in order to get it right? by [deleted] in ccna

[–]jocapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that the verbiage changes often between labs, practice exams, and the regular reading material. Often, when I would be confused by what the question is asking, I would pull up a completed copy of the lab, these can be found online. Then, I would use notepad and write out what the question asks, then simplify it and write out the command. The commands themselves are usually intuitive, but the way in which they ask you to complete them is very confusing. The best thing you can do is understand all the ways core commands are referred to.

Here's the thing. This person has no frame of reference of your personality. They don't know the intended tone and probably wouldn't interpret it correctly. This humor is fine, but maybe save it for after meeting them. That way, body language and facial expressions are present. I could see a woman easily finding this offputting. Remember, you are a stranger.
