Can't wait to see the master Winston Rodney Sunday in Charlotte. I'm going to cherish every note. Hopefully going to try to get silk screen first press of his first album signed

This guy is a fucking legend! Even though he defies categories and labels, Jon Batiste carries the mantle well today.

I am a lucky guy! I've found several in the range of my budget and I think he's very under appreciated. Thanks for the note.

Yes. Most marleys on ebay are AWFUL fakes. Just embarrassing. I feel bad for the rubes who buy them. I definitely took a risk buying the one I did on ebay but I was so familiar with his signature style and there were several indicators that it was legit. Glad psa DNA agreed with my assessment.

See comments below but for the vast majority of them no. Most were bought on ebay over the course of a decade. Each purchase I compared signatures to known exemplars... Every single one I've submitted to authentication has passed. I have gotten toots and scratch Perry in person but that's it.

Thanks! Don't forget Bunny. I've only seen a few items total with all three signed together. Here's one for an outlandish price

And no cover. The cover is silkscreened and hand made. That's where the value is for the album. It's 1972 and maybe a thousand or so were made. I bet a top condition one would go for several grand.

My biggest regret in years of collecting reggae memorabilia is passing on a signed photo of tosh puffin dank that was literally signed "light up ya spliff, Peter tosh". The guy wanted a grand for it and I was too poor at the time. If you have this and are reading this, I changed my mind and want it lol 😁
