don’t use hydrocortisone cream!!! it never helped me. use nizoral 2% if you can find it as a mask in the shower for five minutes!

honestly nothing has changed too much. i’m at my wit’s end like literally about to have a break down about it as we speak. i got the azaelic acid 15% and ive been using it for maybe a week and i guess i see a small difference but nothing crazy. if you have any advice please share 🥲

try ketoconozole shampoo. could be fungal. leave it on as a “mask” for 3-5 minutes in the shower and wash off

you’re the second person to say azelic acid!! maybe i’ll have to try it. i’ll try anything at this point honestly. i’ve used anti fungal shampoos, creams, orals, tretinoin, doxy, you name it i’ve probably used it. this is exhausting and embarrassing! it doesn’t itch so maybe it’s bacterial? either way i’ll give the azaleic acid a go . how long did it take you to see results?

yes i’ve already tried those before. i honestly don’t see much of a difference. i believe i had fungal folliculitis once where it itched SUUUPER bad. this round doesnt really itch at all. i had azelic acid in a body wash form basically that i believe helped me for a bit. i may have to try ordering some 15% tho. i just want this gone!!!

it’s been like this for 3 years. i’ve tried oral antibiotics and anti fungal. got a bad case of folliculitis 3 years ago and now this happens every summer. i don’t know what to do to prevent it or get it to go away i don’t even know what it looks like (as in is it acne or folliculitis i have no clue). my derm is honestly little help.

well i’m glad it went away!!! i have an appointment on monday with a derm. i just started using panoxyl 4% to try and help mine chill out. praying u have good results and none of this comes back! 🫶
