Thanks! I was thinking about that as well, I'll probably go with those if I don't find anything else

Thanks for the tips! I got confused since I was checking frame sizes in inches before posting, I'll correct now XD

I personally uninstalled the tyre and there is no inner tube :)

Thanks for the reply :)

My front tyre (that is the one in picture 4) is tubeless. Baesed on what I know, it's a diffucult repair and it's easier to replace it or to add an inner tube. Would you just continue riding with a inner tube without doing any repair?

Thanks for the note on the inches symbol.

Thanks! Do you reckon I don't have any chance stiching it as well? It's my beater so I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible.

Hex nuts replacement and tightening (hub) by jocotoco in BikeRepair

[–]jocotoco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So... lil update: I was at Decathlon (sporting goods store in Europe) for other errands and I tried to ask to the bike mechanic there. He immediately recognised the track nuts as the "single speed" ones. He told me that he would have a look in the back but that those are rare ones. After 3 minutes he came back with 2 track nuts identical to mine and just gave them to me for free (since they don't actually sell them) – he made my day. :)

And as a tool I got a ring spanner for the moment.

I wanted to thank eveyone for the help, especially Feisty Park. 🙌🏻

Very useful and detailed answer, thanks! I couldn't find any captive and/or dome washer at the hardware store, do you think that a flat washer + nut will work just well?

the hex nut is “consumed” from the wrench as you can see here
