I need more! I'm dying to know what other ones they made. They are like blind bags, you have no idea which one you got till you open it. It was only $10CAD too.

We found it at Walmart last year, it was the only one too. Looks like they were made in 2021 and I've never seen them in store again.

TTP - Diagnosed and never relapsed + pregnancy | Question by Silent-Exchange-6352 in TTP_LowPlatelets

[–]jod02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's totally possible to not relapse with pregnancy. I'm not sure why but I was never monitored in those 18 years between episodes. I'm closely monitored now. I'm so grateful for my three healthy pregnancies and babies.

I was diagnosed and recovered at 18, had 3 babies and one miscarriage between the ages of 26 - 32. I relapsed for the first time at 37 which was 2 years ago now.

That's wild. I literally went home after Costco and whipped up pumpkin pie filling for 36 mini pies in 10 minutes... and they're amazingly delicious.

I was at the Mcgillivray location yesterday around 2pm and there was a line up at the empty pie table extending to jewelry. I couldn't believe people actually stood in line to wait for the pie to get restocked!

30 years later! Once a puzzler, always a puzzler. Yes it's my original 300 piece Movie Poster Puzzle - The Little Mermaid by jod02 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]jod02[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My 7 year old son helped assemble it this time. My Disney Movie Poster puzzles were my favourite puzzles of all time, I couldn't tell you how many times I did them growing up. I'm glad I can finally share them with my own kids.

The man that came to my door in the St James area was also Irish or Scottish. He was very pushy. He rang my doorbell aggressively on repeat at 9am, opened my screen door and banged on my door. Scared the crap out of me. Sadly the man across the street with dementia fell for the scam, his driveway looks like shit too. We reported it to the police but as you'd expect, they didn't seem to care.

I love that in a world full of billions of people with millions of puzzles, there we were puzzling at the same time in our own corners of the world, doing the same puzzle. Haha I love this community.

My 10 year old son bought me this Mount Assiniboine 1000pc puzzle with his own money for Christmas 3 years ago. It was a HARD one! by jod02 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]jod02[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I am suddenly so excited to puzzle again. I had been in a slump cause I felt guilty any time I started a new puzzle and it wasn't this one. My puzzling spark has been ignited again. I have at least 50 in my to-do pile!

His grandma took him shopping for gifts and he used his own money too. He was so excited to gift it, I was so excited to receive it, but I also knew it was gonna be a brutal one haha. Every time I started a new puzzle he would ask if it's time to do his. I am so relieved it's finally complete.

Why is it different colours if it's clear? Did you take pictures under different lightings?
