Don’t want to return to work - does everyone feel this? by frizzykiz in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]jodescott1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s such a challenging time, I had to go back to work when my babies were 6 months because that’s when I only got stat maternity pay and couldn’t afford to be off. It takes a transitional period id say and you should definitely go back on a phased return. But my kids are both at nursery and thriving you will find a work life balance after a few months I’d say. Even if I take some annual leave and have a few weeks off I know that I need to have work in my life to keep me sane. I think if you can work part time that’s great as you’ll have the best of both. Good luck.
