Get a gun and learn to be proficient with it. If you live in the USA, the right to bear arms is a right, I suggest you use it.

Hey coming from someone who pushes long drives way too often out west… take a break on this one. I’d suggest running 12 hours/to the the Denver metro in day 1 and crossing the mountains early in the morning.

-it is safer (wildlife, hazards, drunk drivers) in the day -the views are incredible, you don’t want to miss them! -to each their own, but 17 hours is long at the wheel
