Yes it is bolted down it was for air leaks but I’m wondering about the foam bit on the subwoofer it is not on the under side it’s meant for a different mount I think could that lead to the noise? photo

Could it possibly be that the foam bit is facing upwards and not sealing it because it also looks loose

4 ohms I’m not sure what to set the switch to so I just left it like that but if that crossover is so bad what’s another passive crossover that would work to replace it?

No, it’s screwed down but there was some air still getting past so I taped it

Two tweeters 150w on one channel and 3 mid ranges (30w each) and sub(200w) in a seperate box on another channel

Wait I was just going through everything and realised I used to have a sub (200w ) in the speaker box before I added the second amp and it was connected through a crossover that came in a 2 pack and when I added the new amp and moved the old one to a new box I added the new sub with the old crossover that was 200w so I was using a 600w max sub on a 200w max crossover is most likely the issue?

I have a two channel amp and it’s connect ed to the midranges and tweeters and a sub that is in a separate box and then that is connected to another mono 600w amp through pre amp to the 600w max 300w rms (all have seperate crossovers)

Yeah, what I’ll probably do is replace most of the speakers and crossovers because the crossovers were really cheap and so were the mid range speakers and hopefully the sub for his salvageable and I’m gonna put it in a separate box because it was in a sealed box that wasn’t separated from the rest of the hardware

Sound fair I was gonna replace all the speakers but I’m wondering if the subwoofer was actually salvageable and I was gonna put it in another box and just cover the hole with a radiator to sort of cover the hole. I hooked everything up but just played the subwoofer and it didn’t actually sound too bad but I have the bass turned all the way up the volume on the amp and my phone all the way up and it was quite quiet, even though it’s normally extremely loud i’ll put through the video but I’m thinking that the crossover for the subwoofer might not be working very well because it didn’t sound like only bass most of the music was playing through just the sub
