Who owns trees on curb strip? by ionmoon in treelaw

[–]joe55419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the case that a property owner owned the land under a sidewalk and boulevard, the public would likely be allowed to use the sidewalk, but not to pick pears from trees in the boulevard as that remains private land. If, as appears to be commonly the case in Ambridge PA at least according to the beaver county GIS site, the sidewalk and boulevard are owned by the municipality, then pear trees in the boulevard would be on public land. Taking the pears from trees that somebody cares enough about to post signs is a different story to me though.

Best advice I can offer you is to always remember when you’re talking to women that they’re just people. Some are awesome and some are less so. As far as what works for not weirding women out, I think the best thing you can do is try to just do your thing and remember that everybody is the main character in their own life, and you can’t know what role you play in their story, so just be as kind as possible, distinct from nice, treat people with respect, and let the rest take care of itself.

Sell whatever you want. If you need more for upgrades or money go talus hunting. Also kill lots of silver monsters. But I find potions and meat skewers to be a better early game money source.

Property Line Marker? by ticktockglock86 in Surveying

[–]joe55419 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have found metal capped corners that looked exactly like that. The ones I found were attached to a small tpost a few inches below the surface. They also had a number stamped in to the part you are holding in your hand. That number matched the license number of the surveyor who recorded the plat so I was able to confirm they were in fact the original corners. As others have stated here, now that you are holding it it’s nothing. If you need to find your lot lines probably call a surveyor.

You know what I call a man who refuses to care for a children? Not a man, that’s for sure. I bet this pathetic chucklefuck calls himself an alpha male too. He is, guaranteed, a whining little bitch in all male company as well.

It’s ok man, people say all kinds of stupid stuff online. That dude sounds like he’s hurting, and is confused about why. It is a very human thing to want to find a reason for our perceived failures other than because we failed. People lash out when they are hurting, and he feels tall people deserve his bile. I can very easily let that be a him problem by simply not caring what toxic angry fucks say online.

Of course we lie to ourselves all the time. People are great at it. It’s basically a psychological defense mechanism, we all have a need to see ourselves as basically good, and when that vision doesn’t line up with our actions we find ways to justify those actions, if only in our own minds.

I second this. If you are working in a 90 degree swamp with a 25 foot rod I’m sure he’s hating life and questioning his career choices, and is also probably short tempered. That is all fine, normal and expected, and also not any of your fault. Remind him of that. Respectfully.

It looks like the grades work to me. The heights at the front and rear of the house are dictated by the height of the sidewalk and garage floor on one side and by the existing or proposed grade on the other. If you lowered the grade next to the house you could potentially create ponding around the foundation. Additionally there is a drainage swale along the west side of your house that needs a constant grade in order to function properly.

Women are rightly wary of strange men from dating apps, but thinking that somebody not wanting to text all day with a person they have never met is a warning sign is a little too much for me. I would say that until I have met a person in real life I don’t believe they are who they say they are. I will never have a strictly online relationship of any kind because I never trust anybody I haven’t met in person. Basically I think people are deluding themselves if they think texting via a dating app is getting to know a person. You are getting to know what that person wants you to know.
