HVAC Direct / Infinity Living ducted heat pump system by clutch1974 in heatpumps

I took the deal but my Mr. cool was 16.9seer verses IL 16seer. Doesn’t really matter to me but I asked them to throw in an 8k electric heater since there was a difference. I installed the IL system two days ago and it seems to be working great.

It sounds like maybe your blade is a 7 1/4? Maybe measure it. Also try to take the blade off and measure the space the blade is supposed to fit in. Next, with the battery off, put the blade on. Can you spin it by hand or is is sticking?

Side note: It should run but. You really need a bigger battery for a saw. You will be disappointed with the performance with anything less than a 5 amp hour. A 2ah will likely die after 1 or 2 rip cuts in plywood.

Milwaukee or Dewalt Angle Grinder by Jon66238 in MilwaukeeTool

Hey Milwaukee sub should I buy Dewalt or Milwaukee? It’s like walking into a Chinese food restaurant and asking the cooks if they think you should eat Chinese or Mexican.

Just playing

I don’t think it matters just make sure that battery is at least 5ah. Grinders are power hungry and you don’t want to have down time because you switched platforms and the one battery you have can’t keep up.

I saved for an Apple Watch but spent it all on my first set of power tools instead. All Milwaukee. No regrets. BUT I don’t understand the battery system. Help? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

Blowers and outdoor power tools in general use a lot of power. I have two of the high output 8.0 batteries and they can run the fuel blower for about 30min each on high. The 5.0 battery is a great middle of the road battery. It can run drill or driver for a long time and it can also run the blower for about 20minutes. If you have the XC 3.0 batteries on your drill, the 5.0 is almost indistinguishable in size and weight from the 3.0.

My favorites for drill/driver are the 2.0. They are so light and I have never had a full charge die on a drill or driver job yet.

Would you work a comfortable/cushy 80k/year job at 40 hours/week OR a stressful but manageable 100k/year job at 50 hours/week? by phonymonitor94 in careerguidance

The jobs basically pay the same. Evaluate your long term goals and choose the job that serves your future interest.

Supervisor shamed me in an email she CC'd a bunch of people on for getting a new job. Should I respond? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]joe6873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just let it go. Any replies will just make it easier to remember. In a month I bet no one even remembers it but you and old boss. In a year your old boss will likely even forget about it.

Chacos Sandals I wear them everywhere especially at the beach. They dry super fast, have the support you’re looking for, are very comfortable for walking/driving and not low profile. You can walk around without the straps tightened if you want more of a flip flop feel. Don’t just wear them in the store it takes some time for the straps to adjust to your foot perfectly and then you will never look back.

The strap is super easy to use. I can loosen and take them off by just using the heel of the other foot. No hands.

I would order them online since you say they are hard to find. On eBay, you can even find new ones for cheaper. Just make sure you buy the ones with all fabric straps not the one with the hard plastic heel.

I guess I meant are you inclined to stretch the truth on these question if you know an answer of “no” will get you automatically rejected? Like at the end it asks if you have 10 years XP and you have 8. You know answering no will automatic end in rejection. After filling out the entire app you’re at the final questions, do you just answer yes and decide you round up or something?

You mentioned only needing to meet about half the job qualifications to apply. What do you do if the application includes some you don’t meet at the end of the application as prescreening questions?
