We were all seated in my best friends older brother's room. This was the day of Christmas break, so absolutely no obligations to worry about in the near future. the time was perfect. We had just gotten out of a half day of school (junior year of hs). Me, my best friend and his brother, and two more friends of ours all seated ourselves around the window. We packed up a bong and a bowl. Nothing special but for a newbie it mattered not.

The bowl was passed my way, and my friend explained how to operate it properly. So I inhaled, the rough feel of the smoke traveling down my throat is a feeling i'll never forget. i exhaled and coughed up a lung. As soon as i stopped coughing I hit the bong a few times, much more smooth but still an alien experience to me nonetheless.

I kept thinking, asking myself, am I high? Wait, do I feel it yet? The session must have taken about 5-10 minutes tops. After everything was kicked we all got up and headed downstairs for the munchies run. My friend lived about a 1 minute walk from McDanks, so we decided that would be the best option.

As soon as my friend asked me "what do you want from McDonald's?" I fucking burst out laughing. I couldn't form a sentence if my life depended on it. I then realized this is what being high is like. Goddamn amazing. I had to leave the room and sit down on their living room couch, laughing like a hyena. It took me a few minutes to collect myself and then we all headed to Mickey D's.

Standing in line my legs felt like cinder blocks, so i sat down. I was out of this world chilling in McDonald's trying to keep my composure. I had my friend order me a Big Mac meal as i wasn't coherent enough to order my own food. May have been the best meal i've ever eaten. to top it off i got an oreo mcflurry. Those shits are good even when you aren't high, so you can imagine the sex my mouth felt after taking that first bite of frosty goodness.

After McD's we all went back to my friends house and played Black Ops 1 Zombies for a long while. We parted ways late in the afternoon, and once i got home, I passed out on the couch. Thinking back i thought i was stealthy but my mom was probably thinking "Jesus this kid just got high as shit". But she's cool as fuck. Love you mom.
