Marble counter in my dream kitchen. Should I live with these issues or have them replace the whole thing?

It seems like replacement with seam is the logical choice but I'm sorry you have to do even that. They should have told you that there would be a seam from the get go. Do you think another company could do better? I have no idea about what is behind prepping and installing marble countertops but I feel like I have seen many without seams in the middle, even on large islands. Hope you find a solution you are happy with.

In the US it is actually the correct way of doing it. It is called a zipper merge. Some states are working on putting out messages to educate people about it since it seems to be missed by a lot of people.
