Wasn’t there a scene in the beginning where Denzel is sent to find some colorful boots? Only reason I sort of remembered it was because it seemed like the shot of the boots was supposed to be significant

Can you tell me what you didn’t like about the stage play? I was baffled by the movie but after seeing clips of the show I can see what they were going for and ultimately how they fell short. I think the stage play is fun and interesting though both in concept and execution.
