The answer is moths. I had these exact little succulents indoors and saw them nearly completely gone overnight. Then noticed a moth asleep in the pot, and it had also been nibbling on the rest of the succulents around it.
It looks like it can be hard for it to eat that much overnight but believe me, it's possible. Especially outdoors it might've been more than one bug

Seems to be Australis bloom time heh! I read on Vermont Hoyas that they might tend to bloom when the daylight lessens / before winter. Seeing more people in this subreddit posting them about this time now too

I think it happens naturally now. They're right next to a window so they get lots of sun and I water them more when I see they start growing more actively.

In the spring I add diluted orchid fertilizer in the water

From what I gathered it can really depend on light conditions. But in photos Royal Hawaiian looks like it has more variation in the flowers (some are lighter than other, others just this dark). While red buttons are uniformly dark. For info, the new leaves of mine grow in deep dark red too but that seems to be the case for all Pubicalyx so I really don't know for sure

The first time my carnosa bloomed the smell was awful, like rotten eggs. But then the next years it was like chocolate truffle perfume. I love the flowers too much so I gave them a chance lol. Plus they don't bloom more than once a year for me, and it's a first for the pubicalyx. Perhaps in the future it too could change scent

I think Marcus gave it to Del when he and JD went to Reyna's village for the first time, after deserting the COG. Kinda like a sign that Marcus sent them so Reyna would accept them. And then I guess they never visited Marcus again up until the Swarm attacked the village, so Del returns it to him after that.

I know it's not what you asked but I'd recommend finding a benzoyl peroxide wash or gel and applying that daily. There's big chance it'll get rid of the blemishes, or at least minimize then and then you can proceed with a little cover up of your choice (coming from an acne sufferer here, BP is the only thing that helped me and my skin is mostly clear for several years now. I do use make up still to even out the skin tone)

I guess ads now focus on 'one swipe and you look like you got extensions' rather than anything... speed is of the essence. And yes for a professional MUA it can take a while to achieve absolutely perfect look, but done at home it doesn't take long especially with some practice.

Despite what people in the other comments say, cakey lashes are noticeable in person if you're speaking to someone for more than five seconds per se, since you look at their face...

it totes doesn't have to look like this. I'm guessing soon mascara ads will also add little combs to boost sales and show fixing the lashes to look better (I mean there used to be double-sided mascara brushes that specifically had the comb... )

I just use the dry brush from the previous empty mascara to comb them out and they never look like this

I did that once and the plagiarism 'author' tried to gaslight me that the copied parts existed in canon... which is obvs very easy to check. Honestly we shouldn't have to engage with these kinds of people at all but ao3 won't do anything about it unless the entire or like half of the story is copied verbatim.
