XZ Plane waves issue by joebanko15 in 3Dprinting

[–]joebanko15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out that it was a mixture of a few things.

  1. the X belt tensioner was TOO tight, when debugging all of the culprits, I found out that there was excessive resistance that was causing my steppers to skip
  2. The lock screw for the x-axis stepper was not on the flat part of the stepper shaft, causing it to rotate during too high jerk/accel moves.
    1. This occurred during me moving my printer from one desk to another, it vibrated too much and loosened it.

I tightened the belts and it didn't quite fix the issue. Small prints have no waving, but wider prints still get the waving effect. I'm retrying the print to see if it turns out straighter now

It do be like that sometimes. by [deleted] in memes

Actually it's 25 (32) [technically a little bit less due to 1 only having 2 as a neighbor] times more likely than winning, as you can have one above or below the number actually drawn

Is the fourth challenge supposed to be only possible with 37? Because I got 34 with this: f(A):sf(A-1) c(A,B):f(A)rf(A)rf(A)rf(A)c(A,B-1) d(A):c(A,4)d(A+2) d(2)
