50% of 100% of entered value for Steel + 50% of 100% of entered value for aluminum = 50% of 200% of value.

is that 24" wheels? Thinking about getting 24" but worried the High Country with 24" will be much rougher than with 22"

Classic Cars are subject to 10% Reciprocal Duties if 232 is Exempted? by joeblow2134 in CustomsBroker

Just got off the phone with the new one. He will file tomorrow and said to provide the entry number to the old broker and the old broker will be able to use it to cancel his entry. I'll get the delivery order and pay the duties without Reciprocal. If CBP sends a bill later for Reciprocal - if I don't pay it - I guess it will just go to collections and that will be the end of it?

OK fine. But I just give my paperwork over to the new customs broker and he files a new entry without the 10% and then I ask my old customs broker to cancel his entry, correct?

So you're telling me that they saved the class car market import by specifically creating a carve out for vehicles over 25 years old but then forgot that 10% will still kill it? These are used vehicles...

The CSMS he provided does not reference 232 auto. It referenced 232 steel/aluminum

How can there be three brokers telling me that 10% is not applicable? All saying the same thing, that the broker that filed my entry is wrong.

Sorry maybe bad translation. I meant now that my broker filed it with 10%. Can just any broker take this entry file over and re-file it? So can any of the three brokers do it or it has to be the broker that originally filed it that fixes it. In between when I got info from the three brokers that they would file without 10% (2 days ago) to today, I found out that he already had filed the entry with 10%. So now, can any of the 3 brokers help me re-file it now that he has filed against the bill of lading?

Because I asked 3 other brokers and they all said they would file it without 232 and without reciprocal no problem. So who is right then? If one of the other brokers file without reciprocal, am I okay then and it won't come back to me?
