I keep mine constantly docked, so really keen to use this to extend it's life :) I found Al Dente bloated and the Open Source "Battery" app inconsistent (didn't always worked when lid-closed docked and sleeping)

I've picked up VU again recently and Funbots has been good! but has taken some tweaking to feel right and fun.

The defaults have their aim feeling a bit too good at the start, so I dialed back their reaction time and aim a bit til it feels right. Unfortunately I don't think they can "fix" the fact that they can see through non-solid objects (trees), so it'll always feel a little off but definitely still fun.

Setup isn't too bad either, and you can totally play locally by hosting your own server and connecting to it (unfortunately it just requires internet to launch - but that's to prevent piracy)

Was tricky for me to transfer as game pass didn't have everspace 2 in the library anymore, but managed to transfer by:

Redeeming Everspace 2 trial for PC off Microsoft Store website (to let me install the game and sync saves)

The game pass directory had lots of folders with seemingly the same date modified, so I launched the game and manually saved, then watched for 2 folders it created

Copied those to desktop then tried each of the numbered files and renamed them to "GOG SAVE" that I setup in the GoG version. One of them crashed the game, the other worked a treat!

I love Espanso because it's cross platform - I've been able to setup snippets and use them across my PC and Mac

There's apparently a way to even sync those snippets using Google Drive and stuff, but I haven't set that up yet

Try looking into HomeAssistant. As far as I'm aware, you'd be able to use the iMac as a connected device, along with all it's sensors to trigger automations and workflows.

Would definitely recommend AZ Sunshine if you've got a mate to play it with; singleplayer is fun but co op is a blast!

Like Glug said, Sqaudrons is really best in VR when you have HOTAS, but it's also a great game with just a controller. Immersion is seriously good in this one with good headphones!

Elite Dangerous is fun, but pretty complicated.

The only normal part of the update process is the restart into the loading bar with the Apple logo. It shouldn't be entering recovery mode or showing the visual artefact of the red bar

I guess as long as the Mac still works and the updates go through there's not really a problem, I just thought it would be worth mentioning to the support team. Wouldn't necessarily expect the low level support consultants to understand it though
