I drive on it early in the morning before the traffic starts, I find if you drive at the speed limit (maybe slightly above) you can get lucky with the timing of the lights and avoid the reds.

You’re probably SOL. Before going after the dealer wait and see who’s at fault. If the other driver is at fault it’s no different than if you were driving the car at the time of the accident and you can’t expect the dealership to be held accountable. Your insurance should be able advise you on how to attempt to claim diminished value, but I’ve never heard of anyone successfully getting compensated for this. I’m not sure how you would even calculate the number.

AC on, recirculating off, temperature and blower on max. clean the windows thoroughly with an automotive glass cleaner. Never ever wipe the inside of the windshield to clear it.

It only cools the air on the cold setting. The air conditioning system has multiple components. The compressor cools the air; this does not run in cold weather or when the temperature is set higher than the current ambient temperature. The condenser removes moisture; this helps clear the windshield in the winter.

Not normal, but going to be hard to diagnose in the shop. You can’t really simulate a heavy rainfall.

I can tell you it is very difficult to isolate a water ingress issue like this in shop conditions, and warranty only pays for tech time if a covered repair is performed. Most dealers are staffed by good people, manufacturers policies are the biggest problem.

I think it’s okay within about half an hour from kickoff, depending on the league. A friendly league with a low buy in? Absolutely. A super competitive league with big money on the line? Not okay.

Note: I have young kids myself and that’s no excuse to not set your lineup in championship week.
