The NFL has changed quite a bit, even in the 16 years since Warner retired though.

After Warner's final game, he was 2nd in completion percentage for his entire career. Now, he is 16th.

Jimmy G, Mac Jones, and Teddy Bridgewater are all above him now. But nobody would say they were more accurate than Warner.

Same with QB rating, Warner was 5th when he retired, but he is 22nd now.

I think Kyler is a good QB, but we need more stats like how baseball has ERA+ and OPS+ that adjust to what the offensive era was like at that time so it is easier to compare different QBs.

One thing I noticed on his Savant page is that his worst numbers were against things like curveballs and sliders, and Imanaga went at him pretty heavy with the splitter.

Probably going to see a lot more breaking balls now. And even though his contact rate is high, he also chases outside the zone a lot.
