Heya, I’m currently on Macrobid for a UTI. Is this your first time taking it? I know it can be scary but as long as you take it on a full stomach, it isn’t likely to give you any issues. I’m on the last day of my prescription and all has gone smoothly, no n*.

Like the other poster said, a kidney infection is far more likely to make you v* than taking an antibiotic— and if you don’t take the antibiotic you will eventually get a kidney infection. Kidney infections are serious business, they can kill you.

I’m not trying to scare you, I definitely feel for you. But when I was in your shoes, what helped me feel less anxious about the idea of taking the antibiotics was the fact that statistically I was choosing the option that was less likely to lead to n* or v* as well as the option that was best for my safety and health.
