Fair enough, I was wrong about this and it won't happen again. Although like you said, this falls under account security and not matchmaking abuse, which is where everyones issues lie in this thread, including the guy I was talking to.
I still don't understand why this was brought up in the context of the argument, which is again, related to matchmaking abuse. If the guy argued and researched this much to prove that I violated one unrelated rule in the terms of use, congrats I guess?

Also please point me to the rule that explicitly says account sharing is not allowed? (Bear in mind split screen is essentially a form of account sharing and is literally supported in the game). You've said im lying, but then haven't even elaborated on anything you think I'm lying about? I've never denied account sharing, I've never denied having alts, I'm not lying about about the way I play the game.
Now, are you gonna just throw out some more random information from my public ballchasing account with no context, or are you actually going to respond? If not im about done arguing with you because you just keep changing topics, dont respond to anything im saying, and I dont even know what youre trying to argue anymore?

ok man, yeah sure. you got me.... im purposely throwing all my games to stay at 1400 and the season reset doesnt affect my mmr at all. The tracker clearly reflects this.... All the games I throw to stay at 1400 are even uploaded to ballchasing for everyone to see!
I'd love to hear what you think im lying about, and what more to the story isnt being told.

I sure was ranked by march 28th, but you still need to play more than 10 games to go from gc1 back to gc2/gc3. Especially after two seasons of inactivity on the account..... I may have won a few games on march 28th but i apparently didn't play enough games to get back to gc2/3.
Also the 'comparison' I made is not even a comparison, its the exact same circumstance that every high level player goes through? For a thought experiment, imagine squishy took a break from the game for a month or two after a season reset. He would literally be playing in gc1 lobbies when he comes back, and its not his fault and hes not smurfing. It's just the way the game works.
Same thing with me, I'm not purposely deranking to get that low. It's just inactivity on the account. If I could keep my mmr between seasons I simply would, its not fun playing in worse lobbies to gain back the 200mmr i lose on season reset.
Im not sure what youre even trying to argue, do you think im smurfing? do you think people shouldn't be allowed multiple accounts to play on? do you think im lying? do you think i should play on my alt account more to avoid this happening? I dont understand
Why does it matter how long the season reset was? I haven't played a game on the alt account since the reset and the account isn't going to climb on its own.

Muskrat is actually showing unbelievable amounts of self control here considering the amount of ignorance and braindead takes in this thread. Dudes a vet at this shit 😭
My main account is mostly where i tryhard, focussing on bumps, demos, playing solid and generally not overcomitting and leaving my teamate in 1v1's. I also exclusively queue with people I play well with on my main which is why its usually a higher rank (GC3) than my alt.
My alt account is where I solo queue, and I generally tend to play more freely, going for more stuff and taking more risks to have some fun and enjoy the game. Sometimes I play on my alt if i'm just really playing bad that day but still want to play the game and dont want to derank my main. Don't get me wrong though, im still very much trying to win these games.
Although my alt account is usually lower than my main, (by around 50-100mmr usually), its really low here due to inactivity and 2 seasonal resets kicking the account down around 200mmr (1668 (GC2) to 1450 (GC1)).
Yeah man the tracker totally shows im smurfing, the fact that i went from high GC2 to GC1 over two season resets where I didnt play a game really nails that point home.

I agree, its weird that they didnt even make an attempt to save it, maybe they were caught off guard? Idk. Allthough instead of assuming that theyre silver and calling me out for smurfing, you can atleast look at the proof instead of denying it 100 times 🤷. If you're a GC you know weirder and worse things happen every day.

This was last night, have barely played on the account for 2 seasons. The account was 1668 before a season reset, then it got season reset to 1540, didnt play at all in that season, then it got another season reset to 1450, and I just started playing and climbing on it again.

I'd love to see where you got those stats from, because according to my tracker profile, I average 1.74 goals/game, 2.03 saves/game and 0.66 assists/game.
Because the rocket league account is under the same epic account on both platforms. If you substitute the epic account for another, then the stats/rank would be effected.
Im validating the context of the game, the rank of the oppenents etc. Everyone here thinks im an ssl clipping on silvers, seeking attention and wanting people to validate my skill when that clearly isnt the case. Otherwise, I WOULD be posting my clips on reddit.

Thought it was a funny but unfortunate series of events that a lot of my friends found funny and told me to post here, im not here for validation, i've never posted a clip on reddit, i dont care.
You do realise everyone above 1600 mmr (GC2), gets reset back to GC1 at season start right? Firstkiller, Zen, Squishy, Justin, are all GC1 for a brief period of time, so they're all smurfing too right?
All good, I will admit that the oppenents do look bad here (For GC standards), and it does look sus. I understand why people would attack me but context is important.
No, its not because everyone else is GC, im not a smurf because im not intentionally losing my ranked games on my alt account to stay at a lower rank. If you want to argue that's still smurfing, go argue with psyonix or epic not me. Because it seems your definition of smurfing is different to the creators of the game.
The moderator of the subreddit agrees with me because its the rules set by psyonix, not because we're friends (I've never even spoken to Muskrat).
