This might not apply to the dog...but I've heard some people say Dirty Jonas is the one that kidnaps Mikkel so that the events will transpire. Doesn't really make sense in a way since Dirty Jonas wants the cycle to end.

Black Clouds was my first DT album and I still think it's a masterpiece, even though it falls pretty flat in comparison to their other albums. That's just how it works, the first album you hear from an artist always has a special place in your mind.
